This is why it is so good

Some people was expecting The series to be about a football team. It is true. But it is about so much more. It is about the people behind the team. Being the players, their families, the fans, the storytelling takes you totally behind the scenes of the game.

And that's what makes this a great tv show. I have never seen such a wide array of different stories and perspectives coming together in 30 minutes.

We all know what happened with Wrexham in the field but we don't know the struggles and the difference some people make by being involved with the team.

Let's hope the keep the focus both in the game and their characters.

I cried; this episode is beautiful.

The directions this series goes in is brilliant. I cannot predict where an episode is headed, and I value that within the context of so much media being made and so many choices of what to watch and what not to watch when I just have so much to do. The quiet zone looks amazing to sit in as we get the perspective of a person sitting there, this made me so happy and sad at the same time. I want a gift pack too. I love this show so much and this episode especially, alongside Hooligans it explores what role sport can play for someone and a community. The Quiet Zone is the kind of episode that makes me want to watch more of this show but with my neurodiversity I can rarely sit through more than one episode of anything in a night and prefer to watch things weekly and make each episode a special destination event. I cried; this episode is beautiful.

    Heart over sport

If you're looking for the football and managerial side, this isn't the episode for you.

The concept as a whole is a business venture with a documentary and 'Hollywood' backing, but the way that it's been portrayed throughout has never been on ROI and EBITDA. The documentary / show has been based on how the clubs rising; lifts a pub, a community, the players, and the individuals.

This episode epitomises the season and series.

The heart of the club is in the people that back it, and while it's a difficult subject some of the most loyal supporters aren't neurotypical.

This isn't a football episode. It's personal, heartfelt, and beautiful.

I want to see the sport, passion, finance, managerial.

But this episode is pure heart and I'm here for it.

    Inclusivity matters

This episode honestly made me cry some little happy tears. It is quite crazy that since this episode was made, Rob McElhenney has also received a diagnosis of neurodivergency and has spoken out about how he experienced sensory issues going to sports matches when he was younger but forced himself to work through it. He and his son sat in the quiet zone at a game at the start of this current season and Rob said how much it helped the both of them. James McClean also spoke out about being autistic and recently receiving a diagnosis. It's quite timely that this episode was made and released around the same time. I think it just shows how much an episode like this is needed. Millie's story made me cry so much. Autism is a super power and should be viewed as such. It was also so lovely to see Mullin be such a good and supportive dad to his son. Not every autistic child unfortunately gets the support he's giving his son. This episode deserves awards, nothing less.

Season 2 is smashing it and this episode highlights the beauty of this story

Even in season 1 this show has been about more than a sports team or overcoming extreme odds. It's a Human tale, the tale of life in a small community, those that live there and how a local football club brings hope and joy into their everyday lives.

This episode highlighted that for me, maybe more than any other episode they have shown us so far. How this team can be united with their community by more than just the game, but how we all share common struggles.

It's a tale that I believe we all need, after the "vid" and the world feeling more separated than every before, this small community in Wales is showing the world that we are connected, not just by a sports team but in the struggles we all share.

Go Wrexham!!! Go Albi and Go Millie!!!
