The pairing of internet comedians Jon Jafari and Arin Hanson truly was one of the best ideas You Tube has to offer. It's strange to think that the simple premise of the show, two guys sitting around bantering while playing video games, initially put me off. But then I caught the first part to their Sonic '06 series and I was instantly hooked.
The two share such perfect chemistry with each other. It's strange to think a show could surpass over 500 episodes and still manage to stay fresh and appealing, but Hanson and Jafari managed to and then some. Far from becoming stale, each episode genuinely gets better and better as you become accustomed to these two likable, hilarious friends and their strange yet wonderful conversations.
Not only that, but the clear passion and effort that goes into the show surpasses it from just any internet show. It seems professional, yet not-so. It's a strange mix that cannot be described thoroughly through a simple online review. One minute the two are guffawing over a silly scenario they themselves created, the next their having an in depth discussion on game design. It's wonderful.
Of course, on top of this you have the marvelous editing by Barry Kramer, who manages to add something special to the show despite never appearing physically in it (as of 2013 anyway).
Overall, it really is a fantastic show. If you plan on giving it a miss just because of the premise or the fact it's online, you're only doing yourself wrong. I leave with a quote from Game Grumps very own Hanson. 'DEHN OUTTA DEHN!'

I love these guys with all my heart and soul. They're hilarious, intelligent, and in some cases profound and inspirational. They have kept me smiling and laughing through some tough times, and I completely adore them. They have just my brand of humour and wit, and I love them SO MUCH. I only started watching the story after Danny showed up and I love him, I love Arin, I love their dynamic, and just I love all the Grumps. Arin and his intelligence and comical outbursts, Danny and his sweet personality and voice of an angel, Ross and his undeniable sadism yet likability, Barry and his editing skills and insightful commentary, Suzy and her cheery demeanor and sound advice, Kevin and his general adorableness, Holly and her simultaneous cuteness and badassery, Brian and his hilariously inappropriate yet nonchalant comments, I JUST LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH.
This show starring "Egoraptor" Arin Hanson and Danny Avidan is truly a masterpiece. Game Grumps is actually separated into 2 separate shows, "Game Grumps" and "Steam Train". While the show itself was actually created by Arin Hanson and "JonTron" Jon Jafari, Jon recently left the show and was replaced by Danny instead. On Game Grumps, the "Grumps" play games that fans send to them, for example, they have been sent Glover for the Nintendo 64 a lot for some reason. On Steam Train, Danny and "RubberNinja" Ross O'Donovan play PC games such as FTL or Skyrim. Both shows have sub-shows, Game Grumps having Game Grumps VS, a show where the Grumps go head to head, and Steam Train having Steam Rolled, a show where Arin and Ross play PC games with "Razzadoop" Barry Kramer (also the editor of Game Grumps) and "Mortem3r" Suzy Hanson. The show has over 1 mil. subscribers on YouTube, and is truly one of the funniest and greatest shows on the Internet.
In 2012, Egoraptor created one of the longest running series in the history of series. That is Game Grumps and it has had literally thousands of individual videos devoted to it. It started off with JonTron and then to Dan. I've seen about the first thousand. Okay, that's not all of them but you have to admit that's still pretty impressive. What makes this show (can I call it that?) so great it that it just has funny conversations that go on forever.
The conversations can range from literally every topic imaginable. There's absurd topics like "Buffalo buffalo buffalo" and criticism of Mother Theresa. A lot of it's related to the games, but it can still be anything. To even describe this series is hard to do as there's an infinite number of jokes. There might be more funny moments in this than anything ever created. One joke that comes to mind is one of the "Mega Man" games with the freeze cracker joke.
It helps that everything about this is so real. As far as I know, it's completely unscripted. It's just crazy to look at every single video game that these people have ever played. I think the longest running was the "Sonic The Hedgehog" which ended after over a 100 videos! They STILL didn't beat the game! I've been watching these videos forever and they always entertain me! ****

Since beginning to watch Game Grumps in late 2014, I have to say that I am having a blast watching these two idiots play games and make funny jokes.
Arin is wacky and knows how to make Dan laugh. He "fairly" knows game design and what makes certain games appealing. He has a very specific set of games that he enjoys which is why he is the "Grump" of the group. His rage is truly the absolute best and never ceases to make me laugh. Dan is the most lovable guy in the world with the most amazing singing voice. He is 100% genuine and will never hold back to say what he feels at the moment. His age gives way to strange and funny stories from him eating over 30 pot brownies to him wedging a U-Haul truck into a tunnel ceiling.
The chemistry between these two is amazing and you can tell that these guys really enjoy playing games with each other. Mashed together with the sarcastic annoyance of Ross, the quick edits and slurred speech of Barry, and the cute-voiced Suzy, this show is great for anyone who enjoys a good dick-joke and good witty improvisational comedy.
