Just cause you have good animation doesn't mean the anime is good you need a good story too. The story of this anime is very very boring it took me 3 months to finish this anime. This anime only has good animation that's all and nothing more. They should step up the plot it's extremely obvious. I can easily guess what is about it happen. At first it was good but after the first few episodes it became very boring. The progress of the story was moving very slowly nothing interesting was happening. The animation became bad too compared to the previous episodes. Well so i got nothing more to say..
Super cube's story is nothing revolutionary, it does the job buts it's really only there to bring us great fights, which is the real reason to watch this show. Episode 1 starts off really strong on the action and animation, I would even say it's on par to stuff like Jujutsu Kaisen and Solo leveling. After the first episode though, the action steps down a notch, not to say it's bad, it's still high quality action but not as good as episode 1. That's until you hit episode 7. WHICH IS STRAIGHT HANDS. If anything I found it was worth watching just to reach this point.
If you like great animation and action, you will most likely appreciate this show. Especially episodes 1 and 7. It's not too long either since each episode usually last 17mins excluding intro/outro. Give it a try!

It's a shame, really. The same people who love anime, manga, and/or manhwa, who probably criticize others as being close-minded for not giving them a shot, also criticize this mandarin show with high-brow standards and ironic close-mindedness. I think if you step out of that, and see the show for what it is, and confess there are shows you've rated highly that are pure shonen with less than average writing, then this is also as great. They pushed the boundaries of animation and choreography at the very least. There is a mystery element, and leaves the main open to maturing and growth. I understand it's weird to get used to hearing Mandarin, but with anything difficult, you get used to it sooner than you'd think. Yes, the ai dub is unwatchable, but that isn't something to put on the creators of the show. Also, not getting past the first episode, or first few, because of unrelated poor english dubs, or inability to hear Mandarin/read english subs, does not yield a reliable review, as neither has anything to do with the show itself.
The animation- is chef's kiss. I was bored out of my mind on a rest day, and decided I wanted to geek out that day. I had already finished watching the new episodes of my preferred Japanese animes and decided to scroll through chinese/other animes. I noticed there was a pattern of 3D or cheesy 2D spiritual animes in which other people rated as trash or cardboard-ly animated. (Switching frames by frame like cards with Google slides' transitions)
I then tried to look for a more actual anime looking thumbnail/title poster one. Something that looked like Solo-Leveling which at the time, its animation made my brain blown. (And its manga did too) I felt open minded this time around, and hoped this would be okay. Turns out I was wr- right. This went on my God Level Animations collection (i only have 5 on there) A lot of mortal kombat styled environmental usage was in this one show. Did I mention that my idol is Bruce Lee? 😁👍 (guy sensei reference) They didn't half-bum their moveset in the combat scenes.
As expected of a chinese anime, I saw the art in martial arts with the detail to using the environment, intricate technique, and the opponent's features hehehe... <-- No spoilers, no examples. I'll see youu!- when-you get-there. If you ever get there. (Coolio?) Anyways, their fighting style reminded me of Jeet kune do (my first martial art because I watched so many bruce lee movies when I was little), very practical n tactical, turned out to be radical.
The protagonist also has the will and heart, but it is balanced/semi realistic. No invincibility, instant make-over, sent to another world as an overpowered child, babied plot armor, or harem of women with hair colors from the light spectrum from "cheat" skills are seen. He has the soft skills down, but has to train and work for his hard skills to conquer his challenges.

The plot could have been much more interesting but it just ends up with a hero with a big heart facing challenges to save yao(his gf) and well nothing more. I am watching this anime subjecting entirely on the animation quality which is honestly top tier, I really love the animation quality and would love to see more with these animation style but the story is a lot more predictable and just not suitable for a quality and budget this good, I have yet watched this till episode 4 and i hope it gets more interesting but honestly I had already predicted the whole story from ep 2. I hope they add mysterious elements or something which builds up curiosity and excitement because this anime failed to raise my adrenaline level like attack on titan, tokyo ghoul, darling in the franxx too and etc. But no hate i love the animation so I will keep watching it and my motivation to do so is solely the animation...
