"In Tenebras: Into the Darkness" is an absolute masterpiece! From the breathtaking locations in Gibraltar to the hauntingly beautiful score, this film is a visual and auditory delight. The cast delivers stellar performances, fully immersing the audience in its gripping narrative. Every scene is layered with suspense, mystery, and action, making it impossible to look away. It's clear that immense effort, creativity, and thought went into every aspect of production, resulting in a seamless blend of thrills and chills. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a captivating adventure filled with twists and heart-pounding moments. A must-watch!
Active independent producer, Martin Nuza, wrote, shot, and directed In Tenebras: Into the Darkness and the film is out this week via Gravitas Ventures! Viewers can count on an exquisitely shot thriller featuring beautiful location shooting in Gibraltar! The film goes from wide-open vistas to claustrophobic tension in a quest story for a lost treasure or a key in Gibraltar's tunnels. Once in the tunnel, the film's cast is challenged to stay alive in spite of their military training.
Nuza's film also stars the-always good, Michael Paré and Costas Mandylor! There are also fine performances by Johan Wickholm, Tayah Kansik, and Franky Lankester.

It's difficult to describe this amazingly incoherent mess of a movie without dumbing it down to "it's so bad that it's good". Nothing makes sense, the acting is non-existent, and there there are multiple plot lines/threads that seem entirely disconnected from each other. The three "siblings" all look absolutely nothing alike, each have different, unplaceable accents, and at one point when one of the siblings seems to suddenly disappear/get hurt, the other two give this incident about 10 seconds of thought before carrying on as if they'd never been a part of the movie. It's a must watch movie simply because you are guaranteed to laugh for all the wrong (right?) reasons throughout this dumpster fire. Every other review here was clearly written by a cast member or friend/relative of someone involved, minus the 1 star review which is accurate in terms of movie quality, but misleading in terms of pure entertainment value given it's by far the worst movie I've ever sat through but I just couldn't stop watching and couldn't stop laughing. My friend badgered me constantly to watch this movie... and boy am I glad that I finally succumbed. We are both eagerly awaiting the supposed sequel (?) that was announced. Oh - and I failed to mention that a good portion of the movie seems to be an ill-advised attempt as an advertisement for "Come See Beautiful Gibraltar", and I suspect that some not insignificant portion of the movie was perhaps subsidized by Gibraltar? Otherwise I can't fathom how this was ever made/green-lighted. Maybe Martin Nuza simply has a passion for burning piles of cash? Either way, it's a must-see, and even more importantly a must-share!
