I Love You

This helped me empathise with the main characters and enjoy the narrative more. I couldn't think of anything to say after hearing the ensemble play. All of the actors were amazing in their parts. The cinematography in this film is excellent. The magnificent visuals added to the drama and intensity of the narrative. This movie is the pinnacle of romantic survival cinema. It had the suspense, the struggle, and the ambiguity of a good narrative. It stood out from the crowd of male-directed action movies because it was made entirely by women and included a storyline that gave agency to female characters. It was inspiring to witness a strong female figure assert herself in a dignified manner.

I Love You review :

In between the Adipurush brouhaha, I Love You had a quiet OTT premiere on JioCinema last weekend. Reminding you of Yash Chopra's infinitely superior Darr (1993), the film deals with a psycho stalker (Pavail Gulati) who holds his office colleague (Rakul Preet Singh) hostage in their locked office premises during the Diwali holiday. How the lady escapes this forced captivity forms the major part of this one hour thirty minutes movie.

While the built-up until the stalker makes his intention clear arouses interest, the last hour appears quite stretched and monotonous. Unnecessary heads are hammered and bloodshed occurs every now and then!! The iconic Darr is referenced at one point but sorry, Pavail Gulati ain't a Shahrukh Khan. Akshay Oberoi is completely shortchanged as Rakul's love interest.

I Love You remains watchable only for Rakul Preet Singh, who proves she's not just a pretty face but also a highly competent actress who can shoulder a film on her own. Don't miss it if you are her fan!!

The movie has nothing new to offer. It's an old (rotten) wine in a pathetic bottle. The reviews that have high ratings are fraudulent. Check the repetition of sentences across reviews as well the ton of grammatical mistakes. The movie has 2-3 pathetic actors playing boring roles across the length of the movie. The story is an obsessive tale that has been told many times but this one is probably the worst. I made a mistake of not looking at reviews closely and watched the movie. I literally wasted 90 min of my life watching this. Take my advice and avoid this movie. Do anything else for that matter.

If you enjoy films that keep you on the edge of your seat, this is a wonderful film to watch. Drama, exhilaration, and emotion are all essential elements of a compelling story. This film contains some stunning visuals. The breathtaking images added to the drama and fervor of the narrative. Everyone who performed a role was outstanding. Each actor or actress did an excellent job bringing their respective character to life. The book's plot and strong female characters were wonderful additions. I enjoyed witnessing a strong woman take control and behave as a woman. The love triangle in this film was both charming and tragic. This made me care more about the characters and the story as a whole.

Rakul Preet Singh and Pavail Gulati both performed excellent work. They performed an excellent job on stage in bringing their characters to life. The tale and the book's strong female characters were excellent additions. It was inspiring to witness a woman take command and act like a boss. The love triangle in this film was both charming and tragic. As a result, I became more invested in the characters and the tale as a whole. The tale was fantastic since it took unexpected turns. I was captivated by the entire film and was on the edge of my seat throughout. Strongly recommended i like it very much.
