I'm so glad that this series exist!
Double Parked is a cute and loving series. The writing is decent without bad tropes. The creators respect the theme of the series and they offer interesting dialogues. Madeleine Sami (Deadloch,Golden Boy) & Antonia Prebble (Shortland Street, Westside) are very good in their roles and as a couple has chemistry. You really want to watch more of them and continue to explore their future. Of course season 2 would be amazing and I hope they give them more episodes. We want something uplifting and heartwarming and Double Parked leaves you a happy feeling. If you have time I really recommend it!

I love this show so much I'm braving the IMDB 600 character requirements to write and tell you how good it is. It's a great story premise, completely believable and also totally crazy. Wonderful set up for the whole series. The acting is perfect, one of those shows where you feel like you're hanging out with your mates and forget you're watching people act. Madeline Sami is freaking brilliant. Have you seen Deadloch?? I actually couldn't say that I found any fault in it. (125 characters to go... ) It's one of those shows that manages to be both warm AND funny and also to show character development. And with that, hurrah, I've made my character limit. Watch it, it's great.

Shot through all of this in a day and a half! I accidentally started it from the first episode of season two and spent a lot of it confused by the dynamics, til I paused and realised! Super glad I went back and started at the beginning, as it makes a lot more sense after seeing all of season one! It's such a real feeling dynamic between the main four, and such a great exploration of the nuances of queer parenting and how difficult and strange the experience of feeling like you have to chart your own path through it. Really loved the way they depicted all the relationships, romantic, platonic and familial! Felt really real and complicated. It's always a good show if you want to grab a character and shake them occasionally!!
Hope there'll be more!!

As someone who watched every episode of both seasons, this is not really a comedy. The series attempts being funny in the 1st season sometimes, but that is abandoned in the 2nd season for the most part, it is more of a drama demonstrating the unique situation of the premise.
Because of this, and because the writers don't know how to write TV episodes without conflict, the characters often act in unreasonable ways just so it can serve as the springboard for the next conflict the characters are going to have.
This got tiring to watch after some time, and by the end of the second season I was somewhat tired of the characters. Still, at least the ending was good, most characters were likeable for the most part, and the series did demonstrate an interesting, unique premise with the 2 babies so I don't regret watching it.

It seems the storyline has some potential. However..Story disjointed. Lead actors no chemistry.
They don't seem to have anything in common. Nothing at all. Also it can't decide if it is a sitcom or a drama.
Madeline Sam - why does she look so bad on screen??? Is the show set in the 70s??? She looks dirty all the time vs her lover. And her hair -really dafuq!
Please take time to cast better, write better scripts. AND please don't make lesbians look ugly.
Can do with just 6 episodes. No need to drag on for so many many episodes. I am surprised it has a Season 2!
Maybe recast the lead. They don't work together.
