Comedy, not a Thriller

It's so bad it's funny.

New in town widow, a pretentious Jane Seymour look-a-like is dead broke, teenage son doesn't fit to his new high school bc of his thrift store clothing. Yet mom has an extensive wardrobe and buys a $750 dress for (not a date) with her rich landlord.

Family get "warning" about town from Nick Nolte look-a-like neighbor.

Mom , Amanda or Amelia? Gets hit up for a loan from a coworker she just met. Her boss , the high school principal is the only one in town with an inexplicable southern accent.

This movie is thoroughly original.

Unfortunately, Amanda's prominently displayed fake designer bag is never given a credit.
