Sew Fierce

Why isn't this fab show getting more love? It's incredible! The uber-talented designers have enough time -- or are swift enough? -- to turn out stunning and inventive looks. And the sweetness of the cast, host and judges is unparalleled. No tea, no shade for reals! And yet still "Sew Fierce" makes for great viewing...

Season 1 host Barbada de Barbades did a fine job, but felt a bit awkward during the scripted bits. (Though she was fabulous at impromptu-seeming interactions.) Season 2's capo, Crystal, better compliments the easy, infectious warmth and enthusiasm of the wise and witty mentor/judge Jaime Lujan.

We subscribed to OUTtv through Amazon Prime to watch this show and weren't disappointed. Get some!!!

So much for me is positive and I just want to say I so appreciate how hard the cast and crew behind the scenes must have poured their heart and soul into this. It has so much heart! It is so very genuine and never feels rigged or over produced like so many other shows. It is a breath of fresh air. Sure it is low budget in comparison to some shows but just think of Dragula season 1 and 2 and Drag Race Season 1-2 this is just starting out. I really love this show.

The only negative for me is the music, the score is really painful and doesn't fit the show at all (I don't mean to be unkind, but it is really not good). Hopefully this first season will take off so they can get more funding for the next and get a new composer.
