Okay, we've all watched a ton of stuff about the end of the world. But what if the apocalypse just doesn't happen? I think this Spanish absurd comedy touches on a really great topic.
If the end of the world were near, how would you respond? Would you throw yourself into anarchy? Would you face it with serenity? What would you do?
While the world anticipates a planet the size of the moon colliding with Earth, the apocalyptic scenario doesn't happen and the planet misses Earth.
The series, with a sometimes humorous tone, explores the already chaotic system and the crazed people. The series' writers have likely studied Álex de la Iglesia's style closely, as it feels similar to his approach.
The acting isn't bad. José Manuel Poga and Malena Alterio is in it, and as a bonus, even Javier Botet makes an appearance, which cranks up the absurdity level even more.

The show is a great exploration on what would happen if the end was near but its insane to me how a netflix animation in the same vein was able to show the chaos and hedonism then this one. I persoanally feel the show shouldve shown the darker aspects of folks having nothing to lose what they engage in and said consequences when the end didn't happen the way it shouldve according to the characters.
I'm not a person who needs sexual content and nudity ( they had the violence part ) we shouldve seen more hedonism , absudity and sexual depravity and chaos. Tone already felt like that direction.$

Hard to say whether this is a parody of survival series or survival series. Like every great parody, e.g. "Galaxy Quest", it mocks survival shows but at the same time pays tribute to them. The exploration of what would people do if the society started to collapse around them at an accelerated rate. There is no poorly veiled agenda about morality and human capacity to come together during great stress. It's blunt and unapologetic.
I am giving it top score for great writing, performance and cinematography. However.. if razor thin dry humor wrapped in an occasional social commentary is not your thing, you should probably skip it.
