Only rating it 8 star which is 3 more than what I wanted to give just because of Mithila.

The way she is portrayed is just perfect. Hotness and cruelty of a satisfied wife. That's what come to my mind. It's sad to see her ethical boundary but maybe there has to be women like Shaila around us.

Unfortunately it's sad to see director using Mithila's immense revile in Bangladesh's patriarchal society in making his series hit.

The whole series lacked great dialogues and character development except of Shopon's character. They could've wrap the series in 1 and a half hour rather using unnecessary very bad acting and dialogues given to the police or other co actors except Tanzil .

Good one was using Chittagong's local language.

Just could've worked much more on script.

With the recent rise of Bengali web series in OTT ,Myself Allen Swapan was one of the top entry to the Crime-Thriller Genre . Even the plot of the series was overall okay but the things went from climax to end wasnt good enough . Except Allen, Nobody had a strong character. Acting wise Shaila had nothing in herself . The series wanted to go quickly to the conclusion but lack to depict the proper story . There were many irrelevent scenes which had nothing to do with the story .The Ending was totally messed up. I think in the next season It might rectify its mistakes,which will be very difficult.

Myself Allen Swapan, what a series! From the beginning to the end everything's so entertaining. Background Score, cinematography, locations, script, direction, acting, I should review all of those individually.

10/10 Allen Swapan (Mr. Nasir Uddin Khan) tremendous performer, his acting make you thought you are playing that character in that series. You must feel it while you watch it.

10/10 Story: Thriller, suspense, drama, comedy blended perfectly. The story and the protagonist (Nasir Uddin Khan) both make the series a masterpiece.

09/10 Direction: Shihab Shaheen one of my favorite directors. 9/10 because of the policeman characterization was very poor. 'SYNDICATE' Which is also a great work of him, Mr. Shaheen also cast some poor actors as policeman as like as in MYSLEF ALLEN SWAPAN. Though it is very a small part, still perfection shouldn't be spoiled.

Finally, I must say without a doubt, "Myself Allen Swapan" is a masterpiece and the best tv series in Bangla (both Bangladesh & India) OTT industry (Yet).

I watched full series 2 times in a row.

The stunning background also plays a pivotal role in elevating the overall brilliance of the series. However, there are moments where the story seems to drag, and the lack of depth can make it feel a bit superficial at times. Nonetheless, it is definitely worth watching for its superb performances and engrossing storyline.
