Feluda is a most popular character in detective story. It is written by The Great Satyajit Ray. 'Sabash Feluda' is taken from the Feluda Series's story 'Gangtok e Gondogol'.
This series is directed by Arindam Sil. However, he has adopted the story of this series somewhat in his own way. Needless to say, his direction remains somewhat flawed. The audience can't really feel the clutter. There are 10 episodes in this series. While watching this series, the audience sometimes feel bored.
Nothing else to say about Screenplay. It's mostly the same between the real story and the series. Music composed by Bikram Ghosh. His music is not bad in the whole series.
Talking about performances, Parambrata Chattopadhyay portrays the 'Feluda' character and Rwitobroto Mukherjee portrays the 'Topse' character. These two are the main character in the Feluda Series. But both of the actors did not like this role. Ritwik Chakraborty (Sashadhar Bose) and Rudronil Ghosh (Nishikanto Sarkar) acted too good. In a small roll Arindam Sil (Shivkumar Selvankar) and Kamaleshwar Mukherjee (Mohandad Mehta) is very well. Others cast are average.
Finally, this series will not be very acceptable to those who are used to watching old Feluda.

It's a decent series. Lot of criticism stems from loyal but a deeply sensitive fanbase who find it difficult to digest changes in how Feluda is portrayed. There are some weakness in direction and there is a certain 'unfinished edges' feel to it but still this is a step in right direction. Right now there are 3 different Feluda production going on! None of them are really of high quality but for what it is worth this one seems to the best among the three. The first 2/3 episodes may seem somewhat disappointing, the dialogues, the casting ,...but after the initial hurdle the show actually starts to deliver. For the loyal fanbase I can only say stick with it for a few episodes you actually might start enjoying and for the uninitiated or casual viewer there is nothing to worry, simply go for it!
For Sabash Feluda, nothing is there to say 'Sabash', its a rape of classic Ray story, Parambrata tried his best, but his look doesnt go with this iconic character. If one compares with Soumitra Chatterjee, Sabayasachi Chakraborty or even the newest Tota Roychowdhury, he will be frustrated. Same applies for Indraneil Sengupta , even although presented by the Maestro's son. The Director and or scriptwriter tried to present Feluda as an avatar of Bond, failed drastically. Rudranil tried to overact but failed to deliver humor, as it seems for comic relief this character has been introduced. The the scriptwriters (Padmanabha Dasgupta and Arindam Sil) tried to cook rashmi Kabab but ended in making uncooked tandoori . I wonder, why Mr Arindam Sil is not writing his own thriller story for such experiments!. The only thing deserves mention is recreated theme music by Bikram Ghosh. Mr Sandeep Ray must keep certain conditions before selling rights to some A B C s who have no respect for the Maestro, only means business.
I am not writing that it's a bad Feluda series. Honestly said it was a decent series. Although could have been a gr8 one. Thrilling portion was I believe not up to the mark. As FELUDA is a nostalgic for every bengali viewer we expected a bit more ..... nevertheless a good watch. Arindam Sil is smart director especially in thriller genre. I am disappointed with Hrithhik Chakraborty's character. It was too flat. He is such a fine actor we have seen in many films. Humor portion is ok. Rudranil Does his part. I expect a better background score as well. Hope to a see a better viewing experience next time.
Sometimes I wonder what makes a film worthy to watch! The main ingredients are story, direction and the cast Although direction is at it's finest, but the acting is so weak, from the lead actor to the side actors everyone is acting casual,no involvement to the core character. That's just upsetting. Else, the story is very neatly knotted, loved the evolved version of Feluda with lil bit action. Another thing I didn't like is the scenes, the majestic Beauty of Sikkim didn't get justice. The cinematography is not upto the mark. It could have been much better. So 2star goes to the direction,2stars to editing and 3 stars for the well evolved story.
