Loved the story and good acting. It was great to see Ted and Faith together again. They both aged very well. Wade and Kayla were an interesting couple with good chemistry. Cam was good as the stereo typical ex-boyfriend protagonist.
I like the house was not a grand estate, but seemed a bit small for a large farm. I suppose the basement was fully furnished and had extra bathroom and bedrooms for all the guests in the house.
The collection plate challenge was cringe and ridiculous.
These pure flix movies need to figure out they can still focus on faith without having all the forced Bible quoting.

Too many silly caricatures of what a city folk or a country folk is. Yes, the opening 20 minutes has a lot of very silly things in it and I expected it to get better, but it didn't. It seems to me you should be able to make a faith-based movie without so many stereotypes. Not a fan. These are the kind of faith-based movies that give faith-based new movies, a bad reputation.
So many silly things. The city guy showing up to a farm looking to do work but not bringing any work clothes. His father going to church but answering his phone in the middle of a prayer. Just dumb stuff people aren't that silly..
Seems like it was written and directed by somebody in junior high. There is some good acting in some good writing, but it is sickening soap opera-Ish.
I guess that's 90 minutes of my life. I'll never get back.

The cast is attractive and the romcom storyline standard. The city vs country lifestyles are a bit insulting (to city folk), but that's an old school standard for this otherwise wholesome genre.
The use of scripture "quotations" is odd when put on the lips of someone unchurched, but that's a problem with the genre in general since only certain people speak this way. Again, that's okay--but put on the lips of the wrong character.
You may think that these opinions would require a lower rating. But, Anen, amen, I say unto you: I like critical thinking whilst watching a fun romcom, with its classic propaganda. Oh, and did I mention, the cast is attractive!?!

Short shorts, sleeveless outfits, swimsuit with robe?, low cut tops, short dress, there is a scene where a woman is sitting in a short dress and you can see up the sides to her bum for this scene I rated it severe and one star, they should've reshot that scene, in a scene a woman is shown lusting after a man, not good, especially a Christian themed movie, they didn't need to add that, so inappropriate especially for a Christian movie, a short shirt can see stomach and back. There is a squealed blasphemy, they should have reshot that scene as well. Great movie, love all the characters, great story, then they ruined the movie with these shots. They could have done so much better.
I would have given it 10 stars if I didn't have to see up a skirt, hear blasphemy or what sounds like blasphemy, and lusting.
For a Christian movie they ruined it leaving those in!

I love films that have faith in them because that's my everyday world. My family is very open about our faith. It is hard to find comedies that are actually clever and funny though instead of crude and purile. This film was delightfully entertaining. It ranks up there with the best comedies in its genre. It is not only funny but it's sweet too. My entire family laughed out loud during several scenes. We really enjoyed the characters and the acting was good. Two males (ages 39 & 61) and 2 females (ages 33 & 60) all agreed after watching the movie that we want a few sequels. One on "Maggie's" love story and then one for "Cam's". We'd love to see more of these characters!
