    Well that was certainly different

Not sure what to make of this movie. First of all, i have a feeling it was originally a stage play. I think it might have been better live than as a movie. I thought the conversations were engaging at times. But other times there was a great deal of disconnected dialogue. People not really listening to each other. The evening started out with everyone getting along, or at least trying to. Then the story unravelled and things got pretty tense and intense. The hostess disappears for no apparent reason the the three remaining actors carry on without her. Then things get a bit darker.

I thought the acting was pretty good. But after about 30 or 40 minutes, I lost interested in them and couldn't wait for the movie to end. The conversations just seemed rather pointless.

If you like dialogue-themed movies, where almost nothing happens, you'll probably enjoy this one.
