    Heartfelt and thrilling moments!

This was yet another thrilling episode that I enjoyed from beginning to end! It had some great action with some familiar faces here and there!

First i want to praise the lightsaber duels! They are fast, well choeographed and they feel organic! Much better than most of the lightsaber batteri we have gotten recently! Great rematch between Ahsoka and Baylan! Ezra desciding to fight with no weapons was fun and creative as well!

Lars Mikkelsen once again proves that he is the man to play Thrawn! He is intimidating, calculative and scary whenever he appears! Since I have seen him in a lot of his other roles, including his danish ones, i can say that this might be one of his best roles!

We really see how everything went the way Thrawn wanted in this episode! He wanted to keep our characters occupied elsewhere so they could prepare for their take-off in peace!

Okay episode with some standout moments

Thrawn develops a plan to return to the galaxy.

For those looking for plot movement there is little of significance other than events in the galactic republic concluding with a nice cameo. As much as I enjoyed seeing the character appear, I think the arc involving Hera Syndulla reaches an anticlimax.

The main plot moves slightly with scenes that involve fighting, lightsabers, and force-wielding to inject some life into the proceedings. Maybe if I had watched Rebels certain character interactions would hold more significance but unfortunately, I am struggling to keep an interest. I will tune into the finale to see if the villains' plans come to fruition and hope it includes something promising for future projects.

I still consider the only significant Star Wars story arc ended with the destruction of the Death Star in ROTJ. I am though looking forward to Season 2 of Andor, which (along with Rogue One) is a worthwhile Disney contribution to the franchise.

I think visually and technically Ahsoka continues to be excellent.

    Consume, don't think.

The penultimate episode of the first season advanced the plot almost not at all.

Dave Filoni seems to think he can set Thrawn up as a villain and merciless tactician simply by claiming he is. Nothing he says or does is clever. I had to roll my eyes several times during his monologues.

The constant name dropping and winking at familiar characters is just annoying at this point.

The "cargo transport" is an artificial means to somehow justify Thrawn having to deal with our heroes at all, instead of just leaving the planet.

And what was Sabine's plan when she was just chilling with Ezra and his nomades instead of somehow finding her way back to her only way home?

This series is written for kids and is only worthwhile for hardcore fans who like to wallow in nostalgia on a weekly basis.

The force is back with Star Wars!!!

Great to see the story moving ahead. Would be interesting to see what path Baylon follows, and where it leads him. The jedi reunion creates nostalgia, and a much needed break reboot of the order, that does justice.

Looking to see how this storyline merge with Mando and Boba Fett. Would be amazing to see Grogu, Luke, Leia, Ahsoka, Ezra and Sabine come together to weild the force. As the plot thickens towards a mega franchise, I hope Dave and Jon recreate the episode's 7 to 9 star wars movie, and do justice to the franchise. Rather hope they create a mega series or movie franchise out of that.

The Force is back into pure Star Wars fun!!

You guys put a lot of expectations, of course you will be disappointed

Most people who complain keep citing futile things, I really think you guys need to chill out, if you're not liking the series just stop watching, you force yourself to look for the series' mistakes to give it a low rating and feel ''fan'' for pointing out the mistakes and saying ''look guys, I don't defend this series just because it's Star Wars!'' I think that from the moment that you guys need to explain yourselves by saying that it's not the actors' fault that you're dissatisfied with the series already says a lot about the false critical sense that you have, it's LOGICAL that has nothing to do with the actors, you whining that the series isn't exactly what you wanted, that's all I have to say.

    • Trivia
When Thrawn reads Ahsoka's bio he gets a curious, knowing look on his face and says "So, Ahsoka Tano was the apprentice of General Anakin Skywalker", because Thrawn once knew Anakin Skywalker. This is a bit of a nod to Timothy Zahn's prequel novels about Thrawn. The novel "Chaos Rising" takes place in 19 BBY near the end of the Clone Wars, at the time Thrawn was still an officer in the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, the Chiss were facing a threat from a new enemy. Thrawn left Chiss space in an effort to search for allies and/or new technology to fight this enemy, his search took him to a planet near the edge of the Unknown Regions. This planet also happened to be the location of a secret Separatist base protected by a planetary shield generator, while at the planet Thrawn encountered Anakin Skywalker on a mission to destroy the base. Thrawn agreed to help Skywalker with his mission in exchange for allowing him to take the shield generator as the Chiss did not have such technology. Later on in the novel "Alliances", which takes place in 2 BBY after Thrawn joined the Empire and obtained the rank of Grand Admiral, Emperor Palpatine sent both Thrawn and Vader on a secret mission to investigate a disturbance in the Force that Palpatine felt. This was Thrawn's first time working with Vader, their mission took them to the same planet that Thrawn met Anakin at, and thanks to Thrawn's exceptional powers of observation and deduction it was not long before Thrawn was able to figure out that Darth Vader used to be Anakin Skywalker, making Thrawn one of the very few people at the time that knew Vader's secret. Hence Thrawn's reaction to learning Skywalker was Ahsoka's master.
    • Goofs
Ahsoka plays a recording of Anakin Skywalker. But he is clearly middle-aged, very different from what he was before he suffered massive injuries as Darth Vader.
    • Quotes

Anakin Skywalker: [Ahsoka is playing back a hologram of him as she's practicing] In this war, you'll face more than just droids. General Grievous, Asajj Ventress, even Count Dooku. You can face any one of them on the battlefield. As your Master, it's my responsibility to prepare you, so practice these forms often, at least more than I do. If we get separated or something happens, you need to be able to make it on your own. Don't be afraid. Just remember what I taught you, and trust your instincts. I know you can do this, Ahsoka.

[He bows. Ahsoka stops practicing and bows at the same time as him before the hologram stops]
