I lost all faith in the people on this show for this competition! Traveling down that river on those rafts was very hard and scary. I saw Gary struggling under water having a real hard time getting to the surface to breathe! All I heard from Matt and Steven and the rest of their team saying He's gonna drown but did anyone go to him and help him to the surface? No! I was appalled at everyone of them! Like I said I lost all faith in these people! My god that money is not worth losing a man. And Matt stop whiny or go the hell home! After all they have only 2 people on their team and you have 4!!!

First of all, some people do not realize that this is a competition so the other players Matt, Dan, Sarah, Steven, Gary, and the rest of them are expecting Jeff to share his caches when it's supposed to be each man for himself. Jeff is playing the game fair and square, I don't agree with bullying and the starving Jeff part. If you have food to feed others then you should feed the other person as well regardless. I'm hoping Jeff wins. This is a great competition though because you're watching very skilled people go up against each other but Jeff is proving that he can survive by himself so far.

All of my favorites have severely disappointed! Jeff is right! The rest have acted like mean girls, bullies! I'm actually rooting for Jeff! Kudos to him! How hard it would be to have EVERYONE against you and he has kept his spirits up. I thought Gary was going to remain out of the fray but when he was teamed up with Jeff they treated Gary the same as Jeff and Gary changed his tune. Jeff hasn't been unkind like the others. He was trying to trade instead of giving items away.. I think the 'Mean Girls' will find their 'friends' will turn on them/back-stab quicker and more dishonestly than Jeff would.. Go Jeff go!!! I hope you win!

How is Jeff the only one who understands that this is ultimately an individual competition? Who in their right mind thinks it's a good idea to help their competitor achieve victory? Apparently, 11/12ths of these participants.

This is a GAME with one winner and eleven losers. It's not 'Naked and Afraid' where people work together achieve a common goal.

It makes zero sense to make sacrifices to help others survive. No one will die. If they can't hack it, they tap and the individual is one step closer to winning the GAME.

I don't particularly like Jeff. He could use a lesson in humility but he's the only one who gets it.

I'm not really into reality shows. Not my jam.

That said, Naked and Afraid XL was one of my favourite shows. It wasn't like other reality shows, this one was about survival and felt real. Loved the struggle, the relationships, the desperation, the brilliance of survivalists in the most difficult of situations. Its brings out the best in people sometimes, and the worst at times. Can you make it in a hostile wilderness naked for 40 or 60 days? Your best chance to do so is to help each other. Like early mankind. It wasn't a reality game show at all, it was a reality documentary.

Now they have ruined that by making it into a gimmicky reality competition where you need to backstab each other for a chance to win some money. Welcome to the game show business guys. Yuck. Win a race, get free food. Make a trap for no reason, you get a bow or a knife or a hide. And tonnes of melodrama. I guess this show is aimed at the reality show audience, its not about survival.

Please bring NAA:XL back. Make it more real, not less.
