His performance is the most impressive aspect of the performance. He is always able to effectively manage the situation. His work is graded with a perfect score! The remaining members of the ensemble have also performed magnificently. Let's get to the story's substance. In all candour, it is hardly revolutionary. Probably, you have previously encountered something similar. That is, by the way, the most remarkable portion of the performance. These individuals are conducting research on a subject that has been examined exhaustively in the past. Nonetheless, until matters become volatile. Triumph on every front.

Dimple kapadia is the outright star of this show. She is unflinched, unabashed and totally ruthless, and she hs pictured it wonderfully. Radhika madan, too brings her flavour into the scenes. She is the second best in line. Angira dhar and isha talwar are brilliant as well. Jimit trivedi did a wonderful job here. He has been seen mostly in comedic roles, but here, as a narcotics officer, he hits it out of the park. Varun mitra, ashish verma, udit arora do their best. Deepak dobriyal was a menace here.

The writing does not care to flesh out the characters of bijlee and monk. Monk had the capability of so much, but is just only a menace and not the devil. The lives of harish and kapil are just footnotes in the screenplay. What they did, what were their lives, how did it change after coming here, were not at all focused upon. The screenplay is really engaging. It has the style, the swag, also the substance in certain places, but the writers choose to keep a certain distance from the more actual stuff.

The background score is amazing to be honest. In the romantic scenes, or the tense scenes it does amplify the sequences. The cinematography is good. The action set-pieces were good, but could have been better. Towards the end of the series, the screenplay is rushed, the last episode does not hit you as much as it should.

Its a great series, could wait for a season 2. I rate it 8.5.

All of the performers performed well in their parts. I really like Naseeruddin Sir's performance. He gives his character so much depth. His presence on the show makes a significant effect. The idea is carefully thought out and the narrative is quite engaging. Every twist and curve is thoroughly thought out. The struggle of a young woman to deal with a bully mother-in-law has been realistically represented. It doesn't get much better than this. In my view, the show is a must-see. Furthermore, I believe it is addicting. Yes, you can get hooked to this one fantastic television show. You may certainly watch it with your family to pass the time.

It's incredible to see how a director is able to sell outright negative characters and make us care about them. Makes you truly empathize with them. That is both incredible and problematic.

The cliff hangers are very real. Forces you to binge watch. Dimple has definitely given a performance of a lifetime. It's incredible how the director has been able to pull out the potential of such an incredible actor. She rocks the show. Powerful performance by most of the star cast. Great direction. Writing is Shakespearean.

Just what is disturbing is that the show is glorifying drugs and violence.

Looking forward to season 2.
