From the opening scene, the film pulls you into its world with breathtaking visuals. The cinematography feels almost like a character itself, capturing the raw beauty of nature in ways that make you pause and reflect. Watching Chasing Light was extremely suspenseful for me lol I kept wondering what was going to happen next. What stood out to me the most was the connection between Max and his mother. One moment that stayed with me was when Max finally realized what was happening to him. The film's pacing was slower than your typical suspense, but I found it fitting. It gave me time to sit with the emotions and absorb the message about finding light even in life's darkest moments. If I had one critique, it's that I wish the ending had been just a bit more fleshed out. Without spoiling anything, it felt a little abrupt after such an emotional buildup. But even so, it left me with a sense of hope and a reminder to look for beauty in the everyday. Also it sort of gave me that maybe the director wanted the viewers to interpret the ending to their liking. If so, that was absolutely genius. Great job to the cast and crew seriously! I enjoy film where it's not so gimmicky and all in your face, but you feel the soul of it.
For anyone who loves movies that make you think, feel, and maybe even shed a tear, I highly recommend Chasing Light. It's not just a film; it's an experience.

This is by far the worst movie I've ever seen.
All of these fake 10 ratings.. smh Wouldn't wish my worst enemy to sit through this mess. It's painful, boring, and honestly insulting to anyone with taste. The people posting 10/10 reviews clearly had a hand in making it or know someone who did-because there's just no way anyone with an honest opinion could enjoy this. Stop pretending it's decent. You're just tricking people into wasting their time. We didn't work on it, so we're not biased-and that's why we can all agree: this was a terrible, terrible film that should've never made it past the script stage.

An absolutely painful movie to sit through, even at 75 minutes. The actors are all ineffectual and the story leaves no impression. Is this supposed to be suspenseful, thrilling, a drama, or a faith-based movie? I ended up laughing at a lot of the dialogue, so I must have missed what the aim was.
Normally I would beef up my review with suggestions on how a bad movie can be improved. I think the entire project should have been scrapped.
A 13 year old kid suffers a fall and loses his memory, and the consciousness of a murder victim ends up inhabiting his body. That sounds interesting on paper, but what's dumb is that the kid's personality doesn't change at all. He conducts himself as a confused kid the entire movie, instead of transitioning into a drug fiend.

"Chasing Light" by Travis Robertson is a delightful film that warms the heart and lifts the spirit. The story is beautifully crafted, weaving moments of hope and inspiration throughout. Stunning visuals accompany a relatable narrative that resonates with audiences of all ages. The performances are heartfelt, making the characters feel real and their journeys truly touching. Each scene captures the essence of pursuing dreams and the beauty of perseverance. Overall, "Chasing Light" is a sweet and uplifting movie that leaves you with a smile. It's a must-watch for anyone looking for an inspiring story that reminds us to embrace life's possibilities. Highly recommend!
Incredibly stupid movie. I don't understand those who are still delighted with the movie. Cheap acting, direction, dialogues, story, everything is poorly thought out and cheaply done, including the mom's wig at the end, which is the cheapest haha. Ok, luckily it only lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. I don't know what else to say here because this is too much for this kind of stupid movie, and this is the first review I gave because it annoyed me that I can no longer trust these comments here. Something is wrong with cinematography, it's getting worse, people are losing the concept of what a good film and story is, and it's probably a consequence of the fact that good quality films are no longer being made.
