Sir 10/1 of your movies are good and remaining all the movies are of just torture movies. When you are making some high budget action movies, kindly make a movie which is slightly realistic, natural and interesting movies rather than just killing and killing n killing. "Common man can go and attack chief ministers and their family members and one man can hit 100", Sir you are crossing RGV in making public torture movies since sometime. Actor Ram your face and physic suits much better for a family and romantic movies, once here n there experiment movies are fine but make yourself a action hero.
The director, seemingly stuck in the year 2000, has left me feeling fortunate that I watched this movie on OTT. Now, I can't help but sympathize with those who endured it on the big screen. Each actor appeared to have surpassed the boundaries of overacting, and the plot made no sense whatsoever. Similarly, the director's previous work, "Akhanda," fell into the same unfortunate category, but it managed to ride the coattails of a prevailing trend. It's high time the director and Ram reconsider the stories they choose to pursue. Im truly disheartened, but I have hope that Ram will make a triumphant return to the silver screen with a new movie."
Skanda is a film directed by Boyapati Sreenu, starring, Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela, Saiee Manjarekar, and others. As the movie is directed by lord Boya, who is a genre himself. The film is a typical early 2000s flick where you can expect many action sequences massy songs, intros etc. To be honest, I liked this film, as I didnt expect much and kept my logical thinking aside. Those who do the same will receive the same output.
Plot is all about drama and action, the story starts with arrest of an industrialist ( Srikanth) accused of killing, betrayal. In the process to get him out from it and prove him innocent the actual story starts. The screenplay , editing , production values were good and worked out for me. Ram as the protagonist rocked it, his dedication and the hard work was truly seen, actress sreeleela, creating sensation in TFI, managed well yet, didn't match the vibe, and talking about others, they're the regular boya defined characters, esp. The antagonists, it felt as if watching a process to kill rather than showing their true powers as suited or allotted to them in the movie.
The songs except 1 doesn't hold the energy and makes the screenplay dull. The exhausted bgm by Thaman produces nothing but noise. Increasing the sond of a track\ score cant be called as a bgm.
Watching the visuals and fights are enough to entertain. Entertainment will definitely be delivered and the 'Mass' will be maintained throughout the movie.
The 1st half was thrilling and fiery, but the moment you enter the 2nd half, you'll be witnessing the routine emotional melodrama with some messages.
Therefore, watching the visuals and fights are enough to get energized.
Verdict As said by the team, its only for the cults, truly a massy ride, the only reason to watch this is RAPO, done playing the roles of cool, cute, etc for a decade, now he has decided to play the roles which portrays him as massy, fiery and it truly suited him. Boyapati's work can be praised this time too.

The whole movie just feels like a copy of Old movies of Boyapati.
There were many illogical scenes that made me cringe a bit...
WHY SREE LEELA?! She is just an overrated actress at this point...
RAM POTHINENI deserves better script than this trash.
The only good thing about this film was Ram.
THE BAD THINGS : Some of the songs were good, But most of the others were average or just bad.
Some of the scenes were too cringey, The Climax Twist was bad!
Ain't no way I'm gonna watch the Sequel of this film.
The plot felt the same as always.
The BGM was not that good.
SUMMARY: I would rate this movie 4/10 (1/5).
DO NOT WATCH THIS FILM unless you want to torcher yourself for 3 hours.

"Skanda," directed by Boyapati Srinu, who previously helmed the successful "Akhanda" with Balayya Babu, falls short of expectations. The film follows a routine Telugu storyline, offering nothing fresh or innovative.
One of the film's glaring flaws is its songs and their placements, which are poorly executed, significantly contributing to its downfall. The music by Thaman, known for his high DJ sounds, disappoints once again.
Ram Pothineni does his best in the hero role, especially in portraying a rugged character, but the lack of a compelling storyline and supporting elements hinders his performance.
Sree Leela's presence in the film seems unnecessary, as there's no clear reason for her character's inclusion.
The first half of the movie is relatively better than the second half, which struggles to maintain the audience's interest.
The film hints at a sequel, but given the quality of this installment, it's safe to say that we don't need a "Skanda 2."
The action sequences lack the over-the-top physics typical of Boyapati's older films, which may disappoint fans of his style.
If you're still interested in watching "Skanda," it might be a better choice to do so through an OTT platform, as it fails to live up to the standards set by Boyapati's previous work in "Akhanda."
