This show, just screams "Generic 2000's Preschool show" written all over.
The main characters, especially Lu, are crybabies and jerks.
The show is extremely repetitive, always ending with a song.
Shella doesn't punish her students.
The parents have no traits. They're all the same character.
Lu is just your generic titular, dinosaur loving crybaby character.
Her friends share the same qualities, and are just as annoying as her.
The episodes are rushed and 7 minutes doesn't fit the tone here. If they lasted for 10 or 20 minutes, then it would be more fleshed out.
I don't care if this gets renewed for a second season. It feels like it should've been a Nick Jr. Or CBeebies show than a Cartoonito show.
Sorry if I sounded rude,

This is a fun show with adorable characters and nice songs. Gus is my favorite of the six main characters because he's the most serious and obedient. He also knew that T. Rexes didn't eat trees when he was only three years old.
My other favorite character is Gus's older sister, Grace, played beautifully by actress Erin Noonan. Grace is a good kicker and a great singer. In the holiday special, Bug Nollig was concerned that Luka had cried during the song, being the only one in Gus's family with a droopy smile in that scene.
And since I'm talking about Luka, he's Lu's little cousin and Uncle Lorcan's son. He also has Bert (a male butterfly) as his partner. The other same-sex couple are Barnaby's two mothers, Cara (his biological mother) and Didi the Dragonfly, who also have little twins named Aidan and Lola.
I suppose this topic could lead to a debate about whether or not it's appropriate to touch on these types of topics in a program for young children.

I think this show would be for all ages because not only are the characters super cute; they also teach lessons a lot more specifically. For example, some episodes teach that you can feel how you feel and that it's okay if you're not in a good mood and want to cry. Also, during the song from "Ask Me First", the lyrics include "As long as what you're sharing belongs to you", which would make more sense for audiences.
Apart from the lessons, you can also get some laughs from the show, like Lu's ability to do funny voices, the silly soup moments, and when the bugs pretended the vacuum was a dinosaur (to make Gus feel less bothered about the vacuum's noise).
I think the show gives great examples and I would recommend it to anyone.
