The movie is an absolute disappointment, lacking any redeeming qualities or interesting plot points. From poor acting to cringe-worthy dialogue, it fails to engage the audience. There are no moments of excitement or emotion, leaving viewers feeling bored and uninvolved. It is difficult to find anything positive to say about this film, as it falls short in almost every aspect. Overall, it is a regrettable experience not worth anyone's time. I was expecting a fun movie night, which this was certainly not. Despite the increasing use of a particular form, professional standards are being neglected and are lower than ever before. It is indeed a disheartening experience for individuals who are passionate about cinema.
The storyline was relatable not only to Moms, but to anyone who still has a dream they haven't pursued. I could completely relate to the relationship Danielle (Tamera Mowry Housley) had with her daughter and loved their interactions, especially their dance scenes and when she realized that she didn't like the example she had been setting for her daughter. Tamera's vocals were stellar and her acting was believable. Her chemistry with her co-lead and the other actors was great. In fact, I felt she brought out the best in everyone.
3 generations of women (my daughter, me and my Mom) thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was the perfect movie for Mother's Day weekend. Bravo!!!!

First and foremost, I'm loving this family films. Secondly, the friendship, the work/life/family/happiness balance, yea this film had all of that. I feel like as people, we tend to forget to put ourselves and our happiness first. Tamera's character (Danielle) dealt with that. Chelsea's character (Claire) was family focused. They both had similar goals with different approaches. You really don't see alot of representation of that in films nowadays. It created a beautiful sisterhood between them. I also love how once Dani decided to chase her own happiness her family not only supported her but encouraged her. This was a really great film. I watched it with my family and we loved it. Chelsea is amazing dancer and oh my gosh, Tamera's voice is sooo soothing. Voice of an Angel. Great film! I'll definitely be watching again!
I'm a bit partial to the Christmas movies only but this touching story captivated me. I like that the leading ladies were not the typical friendship you'd witness. Different socioeconomic and ethic backgrounds with the woman of color having financial status. I feel this should be the norm to represent more BIPOC households.
I loved the talent. Both ladies can dance and the twin's character can sing and she's gotten so much better with time. I genuinely just enjoy a showmanship movie. Lifetime and Hallmark are great at storytelling and dialogue, but I yearn for upbeat stories with theater. These actors usually come from musical backgrounds so I hope we see more original songwriting and scores.
I hope to see more of these two in the holidays. Very gorgeous young women who keeps the Hallmark spirit alive with their quintessential beauty, bright smiles, and amazing acting abilities. 9 for the uniqueness, diverse cast, and artistry.

The story is about two talented women who failed to pass Broadway auditions when they were young. So, they moved on to focus on family and job. Two decades later, they get a second chance when they partner up for an American Idol type of show. One mother has an arc of learning that it's okay to be a little selfish. The other has an arc of learning to accept help from others.
The Caucasian brunette, Claire, is a single mom working hard to support two sons. When the older one (who really needs a haircut) started giving her attitude, I wanted to smack him. And the movie failed to have him apologize to her in person.
I liked Claire's love interest. The character is just a really good guy.
I wasn't expecting this competition to have only two rounds. The host's name is a hilarious nod, though.
