    Favorite Variety Show

I loved this show. I was an aspiring French horn player and always enjoyed the fact that Mancini featured them. Mancini has proven to be one of the finest film composers of all time. His music is recognizable to generations, including Pink Panther, The Great Race, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Charade, Peter Gunn, and many more.

The show included both his works and great arrangements of others. I always thought each episode ended too soon. I still listen to the soundtrack for this show. It's still available! He was a pioneer in the use of synthesizers. He was able to incorporate them with detracting from the acoustic instruments.

I wish a streaming service would begin showing them!!
