miracle to ponder .. and wonder

a TV movie that touches on a miracle??? although there's another theory as regard to the coming to life of the main character as explain by a doctor in the movie... i would still love the idea of a miracle ( hope for mankind of sorts) a light hearted movie and a twist of believing whether JOSH the lead character who lives in a old church converted as his home... hmmmmm now you are believing that it might really have been a miracle worker ... me too...

watch it and be one of the many who has their own theories on how is it possible... in this present times...

i'd give it an 8 rating for being different from all the movies i've seen lately...

Much of what you would expect

As in the premise description a modern day carpenter touches a young boy who drowned and was declared dead; but the kid was resurrected.

Shortly after the two main characters mother of the resurrected boy and the Carpenter act as if they are in desperate to find love and start courting.

Not a preachy movie and none of the character are very complex. The media pushes too hard and then their life becomes stressed. It starts to fall apart in the middle and interest fades then picks up a bit.

There is a love relationship that just doesn't work in the script.

Not the greatest but much better than most. I'm not religious but will give it a 5 for acting and production.

    Fits the purpose

This is not a movie for the big screen, not at all. It is for TV and DVD. It looks like a simple tale meant to be disclosed during Christmas or special occasions like Thanksgiving celebration. It could be better explored but maybe it had to be released as it was due to budgetary reasons. It is a movie to be seen on a rainy or cold day, even better if it is Sunday morning. Get your family together, pop some corn and bring your pancakes, it can't get better than that. It will certainly not get the sympathy of non-Christians due to its intentional connection with Jesus. In spite of that, considering what has been released lately, nothing but gore and non-stop frenetic car pursuits.
