Very impressed!

Wow. Absolutely loved it. Honestly, it massively surpassed my expectations of what it could/would be like especially knowing that it was made on a very tight budget.

It has good pacing, good use of sound, it ticks all the boxes that a short like this should, and packs a lot into such a compact running time.

I'm a huge fan of the 'Twisted Tales' Anthology of short horror stories written by the director and would love to see that book made into a full movie of horror shorts a' la 'Tales of Halloween'.

If 'Footsteps' is the debut then I anticipate some amazing things in the future as experience and opportunity grows.

Can't wait to see the next project!

One for the records

I've always loved that short filmmakers are able to pack in the tension and fear into something that doesn't have a long run time. Something like a quarter of an hour.

Janine Pipe has managed to do this with Footsteps, as we are introduced to the to characters that go to find out more about a missing child they certainly come up against something terrifying and mysterious. A wolf man... or is it?

Really enjoyed Footsteps, it's got what it needs to deliver the punch that we get in the last scene to shock the viewer. Certainly better than most short films out there. Some surprising cameos in this film too.
