This couldn't have ended better and the amount of work that went into this episode is astonishing, the acting, the CGI, the choreography, the views and the planning required to pull it all off is absolutely astonishing.
If this doesn't get another season, I'm going to be very sad. I really have to know what's going to be the continuation of this, well, I could play the games - but I want to experience the world in live-action like this first.
And that comes from a gamer, that's been playing games and know the value and immersion of games. Still, this delivers such a believable world that it beats even that.

I was most worried about the final. But, to my great surprise, it is very eventful and does not seem like they are wasting time.
Excellent action scenes, watching what was happening on Onyx was sometimes even more interesting than what was happening in space.
There were some flaws and script oddities here and there, but the latter were a minimum. And this ending looks and feels stronger than the ending of the first season. But if after this the series is not renewed for a third season, then there would be damn little point in all of this.
Master Chief destroys! And it was cool. The only thing that infuriated me was Kwang Ha's plot armor. It was bad.

Ok, I don't undertstand people, the series is almost a perfect one, yes it is not as the game in many ways, but come one it is so damn good. The one thing that is awful is that we need to wait 2 years for another season, I pray that the next season is not going to take that long and we need more episodes. People should stop hating it so much because the series is too good, Pablo Schreiber is perfect for the master chief, some episodes are boring and it's especially annoying is that such a short season should have more action, I hope they fix that in the next season and remember that even if the series don't follow the game that much, but in some way it dose, it's a series to sit down and enjoy the action and visual effects and just let it gooo...
We are back and it's a stunner, big action sequences, plots finishing and new plots starting - this episode was what makes season finales special.
Seeing the Chief be the Chief doing Chief things is a spectacle to behold and the episode is gripping from start to finish.
The episode features a few quiet moments to move the story forward however the action is well paced and better than most episodes before it (Reach was great as well).
All this being said it would be great to see it come back for another Season 3 and see what adventures the Chief, Covenant and other factions move forward in the future.
Well done!

I wish I could say this show is flawless. I am a huge fan of the games and I could understand the challenges of adapting a game with very little story. It is mostly about shooting aliens. What annoyed me about the show is that it had the action and the look of a live action halo. It just could have used maybe one more episode to really flesh out the conflict and resolutions between character plot lines. It really glossed over some stuff in the end just to save it for season 3, and I hate that! It could really turn people off front the show entirely. Why is everything shot soo freaking dark omg.
