A refreshing watch

While the melodrama bits may seem rather dialed up (perhaps because it is not my usual genre), the solid storytelling and the old-school feel to the camerawork did it for me. Someone mentioned this as a criticism, but I did not think the non-linear narrative was confusing in any way, it was quite easy to follow. Loved the wholesome relationship between the main couple and all the snapshots of their life together, there was a certain charm to them.

It's also worth mentioning it was great to see a main female character not wearing pounds of makeup in every single shot (my frustration with a lot of Western cinema).
