A Hilarious Triumph of Creativity on a Budget!

Crouching Party, Drunken Cleric by Masterpolypragmon Studios is a testament to what indie creators can achieve with limited resources but unlimited imagination. This short film oozes charm, humor, and a love for RPGs, proving that you don't need a massive budget to craft something truly entertaining and memorable.

From the moment it starts, Crouching Party, Drunken Cleric hooks you with its clever use of minimalistic animation and sharp, witty dialogue. The story follows a hilariously dysfunctional party of adventurers, with a focus on the titular drunken cleric who bumbles through quests with more luck than skill. The film's strength lies in how it embraces its simplicity, turning every budget limitation into an opportunity for humor and creativity.

The animation, though straightforward, is packed with personality. Every character is designed with a distinct quirkiness that enhances their comedic value, and the visual gags hit perfectly. The team's inventive use of sound effects, simple but expressive art, and tight pacing allows them to deliver laughs in nearly every frame. Masterpolypragmon Studios truly shines at doing more with less, relying on the cleverness of their writing and humor rather than flashy visuals.

But what really makes Crouching Party, Drunken Cleric stand out is its heart. The film feels like a love letter to all the chaotic, underdog adventurers from tabletop RPG campaigns everywhere. It lovingly pokes fun at party dynamics and the hilarious unpredictability of drunken characters, while still keeping things relatable to both hardcore RPG fans and general audiences. You can tell this project was made with passion, and that energy radiates through every scene.

This short film proves that you don't need Hollywood-level resources to make something genuinely funny and impactful. Crouching Party, Drunken Cleric is a must-watch for fans of indie animation and anyone who enjoys a good laugh at the expense of RPG misadventures!

A Chaotic Masterpiece - Fantasy Comedy at Its Finest

This short film is pure gold for any fantasy or tabletop RPG fan. In just five minutes, it manages to deliver a rollercoaster of laughter, absurdity, and surprisingly sharp satire of chaotic adventuring parties.

The story kicks off with a seemingly simple quest to heal an injured man, but quickly spirals into hilarious disaster. From failed spellcasting to unexpected necromancy and a full-blown bar brawl, the escalating madness feels like a love letter to every D&D session that went off the rails.

Despite its brief runtime, the film is packed with energy. The performances are delightfully over-the-top, and the chemistry between characters feels authentically dysfunctional, in the best way possible. The visual gags are clever, the editing is tight, and the physical comedy lands every time.

What really sets this apart is its unapologetic commitment to the bit. It doesn't try to explain itself to non-fans, it just throws you into the chaos and trusts you'll enjoy the ride. And trust me, you will.

Whether you're a dungeon master, a chaotic neutral rogue, or someone who just enjoys ridiculous fantasy hijinks, this short is an instant classic. A must-watch gem from the indie scene.

10/10 - Chaotic comedy perfection for every RPG fan

Crouching Party, Drunken Cleric is a short film that perfectly captures the absurd brilliance of tabletop adventures gone hilariously wrong. Masterpolypragmon Studios strikes again with this chaotic gem, blending classic RPG tropes with slapstick timing and clever dialogue. The drunken cleric steals the show, staggering through quests, blessings, and brawls with holy hangovers and divine misfires. It's packed with witty moments that any D&D player will recognize, from misused spells to wildly improvised plans. Mpolypragmon delivers both heart and humor in a short runtime that leaves you wanting a full campaign's worth of episodes. Absolutely legendary.

Best dnd and rpg movie to date!

While we are waiting for "honor among thieves", Crouching party drunken cleric, (very clever title by the way), is the best dnd and rpg movie that was ever shot.

It is much better than all the previous dnd movies.

The parody of the genre is very clever. Mpolypragmon is the best writer, and it is no wonder netflix hired him as a script writer.

The script is amazing, the comedy is funny, and you laugh in every line. That is how all fantasy series should be.

I will always be supporting Massterpolypragmon Studios, and I will be looking forward to seeing them in the big screen. Giving mpolypragmon millions to make a movie is the best decision any studio can make.
