Hun Iqbal

One & only plus point about the film is novel story , such that can make every Gujarati cinegoer proud . But the good thing stops here .

Iqbal is the story of perfect heist done in first few minutes of the movie , and rest is based on how the cops working (with the help of a journalist) to catch Iqbal .

Interesting plot but poor direction , overacting by leads (including Devki ), and confused screenplay lands up nowhere. .

There are plenty of technical loopholes hard to digest for the viewer . Excessive smoking scenes, repeatative narration of Iqbal and his so called character profile scenes makes the movie boring after an intrigue first hour.

It is really painful to see such poor quality of final product though having amazing plot.

The cinematography, all the camera angles and the lightings in many of the scene is awful. The pacing of the film is real pain for the viewers as well. The story had a great potential but it seemed apparent that they didn't know how to end the movie, The ending seemed very abrupt and tease of sequel used as a tool to buy some time to write the story forward, which should be considered shameful from the writer and director of the movie. The story, background music and acting from few individuals made the movie worth. I would not suggest people to watch it in theatre and wait for it to showup on OTT. It felt as if making suspense movie is not a cup of tea for the director no matter how much some people praise him for it.

I will start with PROs: 1. Great script, hands down to the writer. It keeps you invested in the movie and guessing how and where it will go from every turn in the movie.

2. Few unexpected moves made it even better and yes, no spoils but there is huge surprise at the end of the movie.

Only thing that would keep it from being a big hit is starcast. Having so many talented actors in gujarati cinema today, they chose really bad actors, and being honest, the lead actor playing the role of Iqbal is very bad.

Still, give it a shot. Totally worth your money and time. You would be in for a surprise.

The Unique story you never seen in any Hollywood or Bollywood, Must watch Hun Iqbal movie,. Story is too good But Directer was trying to long story and scenes. For gujarati industry it's too good to for new contant, this movie actor need more acting level and expression with dialogues,. Story: Main hero of the movie is storyline. The best written of movie is it's story line.

Direction: Lot of scope for imrovement. However, director is near to the heart of the screenplay and story so the lapses are covered.

Charecterisation: In quest of maintaining balance between the charecters, charecters depth is missing.

Cinematography and Photography: Camera work seems week in many sequences. We feel camera is instable trying to keep away from spoilers and links.

Could have been better if Mitra's role could have been powered enough to make him stronger.

Still story stills 9/10.

Other aspects make it vulnerable.
