An exciting plot ultimately ruined by its length and predictable screenplay.

The two-and-a-half-hour runtime of this movie felt excessively long, as it stretched out a single plot without introducing any other exciting scenarios. Several unnecessary scenes inside the bus during the first half could have easily been trimmed. The first half was little too lengthy which made me bored even before the first half.

The performances of the asif and suraj were engaging, but the excessive duration and repetition made it frustrating. Some of the humor landed well, while most of them fell flat. They might thought that, "Bosse" will be new trending thing but I feel irritated when I hear that now. Overall, it was a below-average experience and didn't work for me as well.

A middling attempt to make a feel good cinema.

Two strangers meet at a bus station. One is obviously rich and has enough money to spend randomly, has no hesitancy in invading other people's space for his own happiness. The other one is the poor guy whose mother is hospitalized and is struggling to arrange money required for her treatment. The two meet and embark on a unplanned journey, as the poor guy hopes to get the rich guy to help him out with the money he needs. Instead they bond over and learn about each other's lives while life teaches them a lesson which one is eager to learn while the other has no other choice but to learn.

Asif Ali and Suraj Venjaramoodu are aptly cast in the role of the rich Prince and the poor Sathyapriyan, whose names are revealed only in the climax. I understood what the writer and director intended to make with these two characters, from different backgrounds and even more different look at life altogether. But the writing leaves a lot to be desired as Asif Ali tries to bring his character to life, there is no credible moment to accept why others would tolerate this stranger. There was scope to explore, a well off man with his family caring for him and he still feels lonely but the scenes don't really get fleshed out to back the character arc. The more we learn about his family, I felt lesser connected to his predicament with his biggest regret was about his ex-girlfriend.

On the other hand, the more relatable character was the one played by Suraj and here is a guy who has completely accepted his fate, doesn't even try to fight it. There is guilt and helplessness in him while he feels rightfully shy to take advantage of his new friend. He understands Prince better than Prince understands Sathyapriyan. He not just accompanies him till the end but stays as his true friend, taking care of him. Rich no matter how much they wander will eventually find their destination while the poor are left stranded to wander line is elevated by Suraj's character. With better writing, Adios Amigo could have been a memorable feel good cinema but ends up way too short of it.

    When Life meets Luxury

Adios Amigo (2024) - When Life meets Luxury. An Asif Ali movie, with out ' Asif Ali '. What an experience, what a ride.

Prince and Boss, the Rich Guy and the Poor Man, the two strangers went on for a journey, pure LIFE. Movie started as promising but after second half it shows the weak writings, especially Asif's character backstory didn't get a full fledged payoff. Many artists have done cameo portions in the movie, especially in voice over phone calls. It could have been a great movie if the makers had given more time to polish the second half.

And on top of that, it's a Badly edited movie, but still, a feel good Asif Ali film. Another Asif Ali Masterpiece 6/10.

    Good entertaining movie

Adios Amigos delivers a heartfelt blend of humor, camaraderie, and emotion, making it an engaging watch for fans of feel-good cinema. The film focuses on the journey of three friends embarking on an adventurous trip, filled with moments of laughter, challenges, and self-discovery.

The screenplay strikes a balance between lighthearted moments and emotional depth, though it occasionally feels stretched. The performances of the lead actors are commendable, as they bring authenticity to their roles and effectively capture the essence of true friendship. The supporting cast also contributes significantly, adding layers to the narrative.

The cinematography is a highlight, beautifully capturing the scenic backdrops of their journey. The music complements the tone of the film, enhancing its emotional appeal. However, the pacing could have been tighter, especially in the second half, where certain sequences feel predictable and slightly repetitive.

Despite its minor flaws, Adios Amigos is a relatable and heartwarming film that emphasizes the importance of cherishing relationships and living in the moment. It's a movie worth watching, especially if you're looking for a story that celebrates friendship and life.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely, though it might resonate more with those who enjoy character-driven narratives with an emotional core.

When Two Worlds Collide in Friendship

The film Adios Amigo is a cinematic work belonging to the genres of feel-good comedy drama. It was directed by Nahas Nazar.

The film's narrative is concerned with the depiction of the relationship between two young men, and the development of their friendship. Priyan hails from Idukki. The subject is not currently in a marital partnership and is employed in the field of painting in the town of Ernakulam. The subject's background is characterised by economic disadvantage. Following the hospitalisation of his mother, the subject was required to source the necessary funds for her treatment. The subject has been observed requesting financial assistance from his acquaintances. However, this was not achieved. One of his acquaintances, Sojan, consented to provide him money. For that purpose, he wishes to proceed to the Vyttila Bus Station. It was in this context that he encountered Prince. The character of Prince is a highly distinctive one. The subject displays a high level of activity and energy. The subject originates from an affluent background and is currently unemployed. The subject demonstrates an aptitude for establishing rapport with individuals in a relatively brief period. The subject displays an alcohol use disorder and exhibits financial irresponsibility. It is evident that Prince and Priyan establish a rapport with one another with remarkable alacrity. Alcohol and food are ingested by these individuals. It is to be noted that Priyan harbours a degree of optimism with regard to the possibility of Prince providing financial support for his mother's medical treatment. However, he was reluctant to solicit funds expeditiously. Their journey commenced aboard a KSRTC AC bus, which conveyed them to Trivandrum. They subsequently disembarked in Kollam. The purpose of the stepping out from bus was to convene with Prince's former romantic partner. However, she subsequently requested to see them at a later time. Furthermore, they reserve a room in a five-star hotel. The following day, the subjects met Prince's former partner and engaged in a lengthy conversation. A plethora of incidents transpired, reminiscent of comedic scenes, including the creation of difficulties by Prince in the hotel and his subsequent decision to depart. Earlier, in his younger period, Prince sustained severe cranial accident. The change in behaviour can be attributed to the impact of the accident. Consequently, his female companion sustained severe injuries and underwent the amputation of one leg. Prince is of the opinion that he is culpable for her losses. Following a conversation with the former partner, the subject reports feelings of contentment. Consequently, both friends opted to return.

In the following sequence of events, Prince was apprised by Priyan of his circumstances and the necessity for financial resources. Prince assures him that he will provide assistance. In an effort to secure financial assistance, he approached his relatives, yet their response was not favourable. Prince has depleted his financial reserves. In the midst of their return journey, the subjects were apprehended by law enforcement authorities. Thereafter, they travelled by taxi to Ernakulam. Prince demonstrated an inability to manage his finances effectively. The actions of the taxi driver resulted in complications for his charges. It is evident that Priyan encountered certain challenges as a result of Prince's actions. Priyan provided the taxi driver with financial resources, which were obtained through borrowing from an acquaintance. Prince experienced a loss of consciousness as a result of alcohol consumption. Priyan was successful in ensuring that Prince was deposited in close proximity to his residence, and did not allow him to be left unattended. The following morning, he returned. Upon his return, he received a telephone call informing him that the account had been credited with a sum of fifty thousand. It has been established that the financial transaction was initiated by Prince's wife.

The film is said to have accurately represented the inherent value of bonds and the divergent perspectives of the economically disadvantaged and the affluent. A profound sense of connection can be established with a multitude of scenes within the film.

The narrative demonstrated a commendable level of quality. The direction was also commendable. It is evident that both actors, Asif Ali and Suraj, delivered performances of the highest calibre. And significant effort has been invested in the development of the characters and the creation of a unique vernacular. The musical scores are worthy of particular attention. It was observed that the visual graphics did not attain the requisite standard in sometimes. The film is good, as it facilitates one time watching and recommendations.
