It gripped me...

Amazon Prime started autoplaying it... The acting is good for the style of movie.

You know the story, the tale old as time of a preacher subverting religion for power, money, and women.

The steady growth of a cult-esque group and all that entails.

I enjoy this take.. It runs long but it's interesting enough.

It's a 7/10 but I gave it a 9 to balance out that overly harsh review before.

It's also a more unique take on the idea and it feels written by people who feel the subject matter. The production value is low, true, but I don't think the acting is bad at all. Some of it is quite good actually.

Look... I'm not saying it's a must watch but you might enjoy it!

WAY BEYOND AWFUL!

I don't know who are what they were thinking?! Who greenlighted TRAIN WRECK of a BAD video and called it a movie?!! The script; actors; writing and directingbwere all just HORRIBLE!!!

It looks like the sets were Real CHEAP, as were t h e costumes! I guess they thought that by mentioning ATLANTA,(The designated CENTER of all things power ful and Black) that b would be enough to make people watch this awful, pitiful attempt at making a watchable film! I am embarrassed for everyone associated with this moving DISASTER of a "movie" I have mentioned the phrase "Train Wreck" more than once,actually an actual wreck, of any kind would be better entertainment!!

Was a pretty good Movie

Good movie, scenery could have been better but over all still good acting and cast. Love the director he makes really good movies. On a serious note it's based on a real life event and person that's the crazy part. The book is good too.

Won't lie the whooping scene really did look extreme realistic and may be sensitive to some people so views be aware.
