Abysmal

Depressing, boring, monotonous and obviously, I do not recommend this film!!! Generally, I appreciate character driven films and really enjoy those films from outside of Hollywood. However, this film was almost two hours of gray nothing. The two young children rarely speak. The two dimensional characters complain continuously. There are no closeups. It is inconceivable that it has been nominated for at least one foreign film award. On a Sunday afternoon at a well regarded theatre, I actually saw some attendees taking a nap. I have been to Finland and this film does not do the people, nor their lifestyle justice!
