Here's a government-sponsored short urging people to get into uranium prospecting. All you need is a geiger counter or scintilamamonter, or whatever it is, and you can wander happily over the United States finding lots of the precious ore.
I presume a lot has changed in the three-quarters of a century since this short came out. It seems, well, naive, to put it kindly. Starting with a frantic-sounding narration and a series of musical stings, it suggests a 1950s sci-fi movie. Not only will you find uranium and become rich, you will find giant ants, giant lizards, and with any (bad) luck, a 70-foot tall, bald, Glenn Langan, alternating with shots of people pointing upward in horror at what I imagine is his enormous groin.
