I'm not the biggest Deadpool or comicbook fan but this web-series seems like it was made by people with a genuine affinity for the character and on its own terms is entertaining enough.
Those criticising its quality as a fan series should probably take a look around at some of the other stuff made on micro-budgets and realise that for a fan made production it's not too bad at all. Some of the oneliners are pretty good and not too far away from the style of the current film franchise (though without such quickfire delivery).
The acting is okay and nobody seems to lack enthusiasm or be too wooden. The poor lighting, sound and 'sets' are going to take away from any performance but I think most of the cast do pretty well with it.
In summary, if you're a fan of the character then give it a go and see what you make of it. If you're just going to judge it against the multi million dollar films or even higher budget / more recent fan projects then maybe save your time.

What do you get when you take one part Ryan Reynolds, amp him up to Jim Carrey and a pinch of Leslie Nielsen? You get Deadpool: The Web Series, written and directed by Chris R. Notarile.
I rated this a 10 out of 10, a rating I reserve for the classics, Evil Dead, Big Trouble in Little China, Airplane, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along- Blog, Super, etc.
The high energy and infectious nature of the humor, from the puns to the slapstick, mixed in with the breaking of the fourth wall, makes Deadpool: The Web Series, a magical exercise in absurdity that feels like the norm, as it takes you deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole, whistling a happy tune all the way.

I had high expectations of what I wanted to see in Deadpool as I was let down by Hollywood itself in it's first attempt at the 'Merc with a Mouth' I wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I must say I got more than I could ever imagine. The comedy was superb and I must say even though this is completely fan-made Chris does great work with what he has. There is always room for improvement (as with anything that is barely starting out) and I'm sure that if given enough time this series can become even better. I've seen other Deadpool fan films/series and this series by far surpasses them all. I was so excited to watch episode two after I had seen the first one. I just hope they will be able to continue on with this series as I'm hooked and must have more.
