It's hard to describe Rekha's effect because the movie was quite intense😳 It was a display of excessive fury mixed with passionate love and insanity
DELICIOUS
Rekha was so different from Jithin's Freedom Fight and Attention Please as it delved into young women's inner being and unleashed a power never before seen on screen
We got to experience Rekha's fighting soul and sheer determination to defy society's norms of the typical woman.
Even her dress code made a bold statement about her conservative values and modern/fierce attitude. The name 'Rekha' itself (meaning 'line') showed that if anyone crossed her limits, she was going to wake up the sleeping beast in her
All the actors performed fantastically, kudos to Vincy and Unni who held the ship together👊🏾 We believed all the emotions they released: fury, passionate love, lust, disgust, rage, anguish, and insanity (is insanity an emotion?🤔)
The camera's diverse movements and angles elevated the film's dimension by giving us more insights into how Rekha was feeling and the eerie environments.
The soundtracks were superb! They started out with calming voices and vibes, then increased the momentum by switching to hard rock as the scenes became more intensive
'Rekha' was an important wake-up call for young women who succumb to the pressure of being in relationships and for women who let society define them
BLAND
Our little negative was the extent to which intimacy and nudity were shown deflating the great energy the movie possessed and not serving much of a purpose.

A gripping tale of love struck couple in rural Kerala.. the story tbh is mediocre but the direction, screenplay, acting is all excellent.
Started watching this movie expecting not much and was completely surprised, the movie is intense and gripping, The story revolves around a girl who feels cheated not in love but in trust.
The actress in the movie does full justice to her character.
Never was there a dull moment watching the movie.
Song and music is good and upto the mark.
The best part I would gaian mention is the direction. Loved it.

Rekha movie made my day
Such a wonderful movie
Unni Lalu just nailed it man
Both of Unni and Vincy done an outstanding performance.
Especially Vincy, Her performance is just out of the world She's gonna get a national award for playing Rekha in such a way There's no doubt in that.
She literally deserves it.
And yha , I think this is that moment where we all have that real proud feeling I'm so happy that you showed that courage to play such a negative role and you did the best.
There is no escape. The second half is not like the first half. There is a twist before Interval. Uffff. Everyone should experience the theater itself.

Rekha is a well written revenge story. But, it just didn't work for me. Maybe this is my inherent bias, but I really don't like Vincy Aloysius's acting. And in this movie, there were times went she, let's say, went full psycho, which wasn't really required for the role. Other times she held fort, but those moments really spoiled it for me. The male protagonist was okay, so we're the rest of the characters. Another criticism was that the movie was unnecessarily slow and laggy in parts where it didn't need to be. Also, the transformation of the male lead into the villain was quite abrupt and incomplete, I felt Roshan Andrews's character in Kappela was better written and executed. This felt like a bit of a miss. Had high hopes, but wasn't happy with this movie.
Unnecessarily slow paced for the sake of being an artistic film. The acting and plot was decent. Cinematography was really good for this genre. Felt like the qst half of movie spent more in her doing detective work to find out the whereabout of the dads killed.
