Honest review for honest trailers gotta tell the truth.....lol jk this is one of my favorite webseries of all time pretty well written funny brilliantly edited and of course the epic voice of Jon Bailey!! Definitely the highlight of my Tuesday every week;)
The honest trailers of today may have lost the brilliance of the initial ones....but we're still here
but in all honesty...bring back the voice guy that came after the very first...or was it the third...i think it was the third
or was it the one that did it...went away...came back then went away again
i think so...yeah...bring him back
and how come this voice guy has been doing it soo long....all this while...retire bro!!...
we need another voice guy.

There's no shortage of parody to be found on YouTube, but I can't think of a more winning concept than "Honest Trailers". It captures the spirit of the classic voiceovers dude from the '80s while skewering all manner of mainstream garbage.
And after so many years, it still hasn't gotten old. For me, Jon Bailey is the secret weapon; he makes for an excellent Epic Voice-over Guy, channeling Don LaFontaine with plenty of room for his own humorous touches. It doesn't matter whether they're taking jabs at some low-hanging fruit like "Armageddon" or a bulletproof classic like "The Empire Strikes Back", it's always funny. And when they're really trashing a movie, it is glorious (*cough* "Suicide Squad" *cough*).
Few YouTube shows are consistently this entertaining.

In 1990, a website was made called the Internet Movie Database, otherwise known as the IMDb because apparently, lowercasing things makes them easier to spell. Go to see this website and talk about all your favorite movies and shows. That is, until they take down all the forums. Gee, I wonder if YouTube getting rid of their comments on kid's shows had anything to do with this? Only until 1998, did they actually put reviews on it. Oh dang, you guys could have gotten this stuff out before Amazon did!
Maybe this website will eventually allow you to review food items too. Spend hours looking at information and trivia on pop culture. Don't worry, it still won't be as addictive as TVTropes! Allow yourself to easily review anything you want. A pity you won't be able to tell how upvoted your review will be. Don't worry, this website isn't distinct enough to give off many memes.
Watch as you are forced to give a perfect score to the Breaking Bad episode "Ozymandias" and a horrible score to "Cumali Ceber". How does that film not even have its own Wikipedia article, by the way? Go back and give a higher or lower score to anything when you realize something holds up better or worse when you rewatch it or you know, are too lazy to see the whole thing again. Indulge yourself on how many times you can spot Kevin MacCleod. Try to make a combination on the Advanced Title Search no one's ever made before. Starring Game Of Thrones Fans, Justin Bieber Haters, People Who Have Forgotten Soap Operas Yet Still List All Their Episodes, And Those Who Quote Arnold Schwarzeneggar. Internet Movie/TV/Video Game/Short Film Database.
Seriously, why are these guys so much more forgiving on films than RottenTomatoes? "A Thousand Words" should be on the Bottom 100.
