Annabelle Wallis – whose credits include Annabelle, Malignant, and The Mummy – has signed on to star in the sci-fi thriller Mercy alongside previously announced cast members Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson, Variety reports. Details on the role Wallis will be playing have not been revealed, and the same can be said about Ferguson’s character.
Mercy reunites Pratt with his Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov to tell a story that is “set in the near future when capital crime has increased” and follows “a detective (Pratt] who is accused of a violent crime and forced to prove his innocence.” The screenplay was written by Marco Van Belle (Arthur & Merlin).
Coming our way from Amazon MGM Studios, the film is expected to go into production this spring and is already scheduled to receive a worldwide theatrical release on August 15, 2025.

The selection of titles for HBO Max in February 2023 will include the continuation of hit TV shows, premieres of holiday specials, and Oscar nominees. New Indie While great shows like Mad Men and Breaking Bad have made it possible for TV’s best dramas to stand alongside great movies, it’s still a bit of a leap for actors to graduate from small-screen to large. For all his acclaim as Don Draper, Jon Hamm hasn’t quite found a film vehicle suited to his talents, and while Mad Men star Bryan Cranston snagged an Oscar nomination last year, his co-star Aaron Paul is also looking for a movie role that best suits him (although he’s killing it on Hulu’s The Path). Come and Find Me (Lionsgate Home Entertainment) isn’t the culmination of Paul’s quest for big-screen legitimacy, but it gets him a lot closer to his goal than, say, Need for Speed. This new thriller stars Paul as a man whose wife...

The film explores threads of America’s deep-seated racism and small-town insulation, and it pairs that commentary with a steadily increasing suspense. The themes and actions here are still sadly relevant, even now, and it makes for an important watch that still manages to entertain. UK financier Motion Picture Capital to tackle story of UK rugby player.
Motion Picture Capital is to develop biopic Code Of Honour, a sports story based on the life of rugby player Ady Spencer.
The production company has hired upcoming screenwriter David Raymond to write the treatment for the film. Raymond most recently wrote the mini-series In Harm’s Way about Un peacekeepers, which is set to be produced by Brett Ratner’s RatPac Entertainment.
This new script will be based on the controversial events that saw Spencer banned from rugby union after he appeared for Cambridge University in the Varsity Match against Oxford University, despite having previously already played rugby league at professional level with the London Crusaders.
The film will be developed and produced by the CEO of Motion Picture Capital, Leon Clarance, whose credits include Come and Find Me (starring Aaron Paul) and Netflix series Sense8 which was co-created by the Wachowskis (The Matrix...

"Claire was complicated... she was dangerous." Saban Films has debuted the new official theatrical trailer an indie drama titled Come and Find Me, a mysterious thriller about a missing woman. The first trailer we posted for this, which is actually even longer than this one below, was just a teaser - this is the final full trailer. Aaron Paul stars in this, with Annabelle Wallis, Garret Dillahunt, Valerie Tian, Zachary Knighton and Terry Chen. When his girlfriend goes missing, David tracks down her whereabouts after he realizes she's not who she was pretending to be. This film seems to turn into some kind of violent action thriller in the second half, which makes me a little bit concerned, but you never know - it still might be good. Here's the new official trailer (+ poster) for Zack Whedon's Come and Find Me, direct from YouTube: David (Aaron Paul) and Claire...

With a seemingly endless amount of streaming options — not only the titles at our disposal, but services themselves — we’ve taken it upon ourselves to highlight the titles that have recently hit platforms. Check out our rundown for this week’s selections below.
Dog Eat Dog (Paul Schrader)
Paul Schrader might want to consider expanding his thematic scope a little. Decade after decade, film after film, regardless of whether he’s been writing scripts for others (Martin Scorsese, first and foremost), or sitting in the director’s chair himself, the erstwhile Calvinist has come back to the theme of redemption with obstinate persistence. His protagonists are almost always men, they’re almost...

Come And Find Me endears in a very Charlie Countryman kind of way (if Shia’s flick was your thing), where love motivates a regular Joe to throw himself to the proverbial lions. Think Mr. And Mrs. Smith, except only the wife is an assassin, and the husband is nothing but urban camouflage (aka cover). Writer/Director Zack Whedon never loses the reality that his graphic-designing hero is in completely over his head, and makes a better thriller for it. It’s still very monotone and a bit predictable, but Whedon stays true to the foolish things love makes us do, from challenging mercenaries to investigating government conspiracies – even when you aren’t Jason Bourne.
Aaron Paul stars as David, a boyfriend who wakes up one morning to find his girlfriend Claire (Annabelle Wallis) missing. No note, no fight the night before, no suspected cheating – just an empty bed and no answers.

Indie drama Come and Find Me has today unveiled its first teaser trailer, sending Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul off on a wild goose chase in a bid to find his missing girlfriend (Peaky Blinders‘ Annabelle Wallis) who has vanished without rhyme or reason.
Written and directed by Zack Whedon (Halt and Catch Fire, Fringe), the mystery thriller begins by introducing David (Paul) and Claire’s (Wallis) picture-perfect relationship. Everything is rosy, and it isn’t long before the pair fall deeply and madly in love. One day, David senses trouble in paradise, before discovering that his significant other has disappeared without so much of a warning. Crushed, Aaron Paul’s protagonist scrambles across town, though slowly but surely the mysteries that he uncovers leads him to believe that Claire has been masking a double life all along.

"You're a million miles away, and I can't bring you back." Saban Films has released the first teaser trailer for an indie drama titled Come and Find Me, a mysterious thriller about a missing woman. Aaron Paul stars, along with Annabelle Wallis, Garret Dillahunt, Valerie Tian, Zachary Knighton and Terry Chen. When his girlfriend goes missing, David must track down her whereabouts after he realizes she's not who she was pretending to be. This looks like an intriguing mystery thriller, with some action kicking in at the end of this trailer. It reminds me a bit of The Vanishing, but hopefully there's some unique twists to this. I'm intrigued by this trailer, though not totally sold on it yet - but I'm certainly curious. Give it a look below. Here's the first teaser trailer for Zack Whedon's Come and Find Me, direct from YouTube: David (Aaron Paul) and Claire...

Unfair or not, you can tell a lot about a movie by its marketing campaign….or lack of one. With less than one month to go until its released, Saban Films has finally unveiled the trailer for “Come And Find Me,” which despite featuring “Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul, has been flying pretty much completely under the radar, without even a cursory film festival bow to get any kind of word out.

Zack Whedon is set to make his directorial debut with thriller Come And Find Me.
Whatever they used to have over the Whedon family breakfasts back in the day, they should bottle it. Joss Whedon you know all about, Jed Whedon too has been producing Agents Of Shield and Dollhouse. And of course there's Zack Whedon too, who is set to direct the upcoming movie, Come And Find Me.
Zack Whedon has, as you likely know, already written for the likes of Deadwood, Fringe and Southland, and there was the small matter of Dr Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. For his directorial debut, he's telling the story of a man who's hunting his missing ex-girlfriend, having discovered that she's not quite who he thought.
For the lead in his movie, Whedon has recruited Aaron Paul, who continues to build his post-Breaking Bad career. The screenplay for the film, that Whedon also wrote,...
