Despite it's warm summer appearance, the majority of Pool Party Massacre was shot in the winter. With principal photography beginning on Black Friday 2015, over the course of the 6 month shooting schedule there were days that dropped below freezing in the first few months and over 100 degrees in the last month.

A decent throwback to the slashers of the 80s

Really enjoyed it, as a fan of 1980s slashers, I appreciate the homage it portrays to them. And while the acting isn't brilliant, it's a really good fun and decent amounts of gore to satisfy horror fans.
