Ylvis i Sogn

We fans have dreamed about an Ylvis series like this for years! Not only because every episode has english subtitles (thanks VGTV!) but because we finally get to peak into the creation process of their music. A highlight of the series is definitely Bjarte (aka Bjarne) Ylvisåker, who made the series more fun and lighthearted and is just as talented as his brothers. Now every Ylvis show without him feels incomplete, in a way. :) Compared to their usual content, the series feels more personal, as you learn more about the Ylvisåker roots in Sogndal and even get to meet their parents. There is a lot of love for details, that you discover more and more when you rewatch the episodes. From the design of the Sogna bunad tracksuits to the fact that they used an organ that was build by their grandfather (for Firkantfar), the whole show feels like a humorous love declaration to Sogndal.

Unfortunately the episodes are only between 15-20 minutes long and I wish there would be more of it.
