Supla: Cenas de Ciúme

A little recently I had a blast from the past and remembered about this Supla cover from A Flock of Seagulls, a trip to the memory lane where you remember fun stuff that kept hidden from you for some obscure reasons. "Cenas de Ciúme" is a hilarious music video co-starring model/TV host Luciana Gimenez where they play a couple who doesn't seem to be in tune with each other since the man is always out on bars and clubs getting chased by hot women, but a friend of the women always warns where he is and she rushes to the place to make a scene with everyone causing a huge commotion and some funny moments. In between shots, Papito wears a pink tuxedo performing on stage.

Of course, "I Ran (So Far Away)" is the better song but Supla does not disappoint in making his own version without translating the song. It's all well acted by the main stars and extras, but I've always felt curious in two things: the reason for cheating a gorgeous woman; and why he always has affairs and things with blondes - if that's the goal he should never got the brunette, he should leave her alone. Oh and the ending is hilarious. A true campy classic from the early 2000's.
