The Haunted Hathaways: Spooky Laughs and Heartfelt Warmth
"The Haunted Hathaways" is a standout series that never fails to bring a smile to my face. It's one of the best shows I've ever watched, and when I need a good laugh and some warmth, I find myself revisiting its episodes (wich in numbers is more than 10 times!).
While the show has its quirks, like its old-school Nickelodeon style, dated jokes, and modest production budget, it's a welcome departure from some of the newer Nick/Disney TV shows. The cast takes a few episodes to fully settle into their characters, but the series still manages to captivate with its blend of humor and excitement.
"The Haunted Hathaways" is unique in its ability to combine spooky supernatural elements with genuine warmth and relatability. The Hathaway family, a mix of living and ghostly members, provides a heartwarming twist to the traditional family sitcom. Their interactions, whether funny or touching, make you genuinely care about their journey.
While it may not be a masterpiece like "Victorious," "The Haunted Hathaways" is an endearing show that offers both laughs and heartfelt moments. If you're in the mood for some fun and warmth, give it a watch; you won't be disappointed.

Seeing as this is a show for Children and the majority of reviews on here are being given by Adults... May I suggest the Adults watch the show for what it is "A CHILDRENS SHOW"..
I used to watch the show with my Nephew when he was younger and he loved it..

This is a nice series to watch. There was room for improvement to make the series better. The storyline of the whole series was alright. The cast selection was fine. They connected strongly to the storyline of the series. This series does reveal to viewers the true nature and reality of a teenager's life. It shows the real challenges and difficulties of building and balancing a life. This series teaches viewers a few things about growing up. I did not fully enjoy watching this series. It was fine and there are good parts. There were some parts throughout the series that I was not a fan of. This is still an alright series for viewers to watch.
I watched both seasons. My guess is the pitch was lets get an interracial Brady Bunch where they aren't really in a relationship. We can do aliens or ghosts? Ok, ghost's it is!
The show is funny, but too dang funny - not enough family moments. The obvious question that you have about the Prestons is never answered. Then, there is the New Orleans/voodoo backdrop. I'm not shocked that it was cancelled because it wasn't as bold as it should be. Still 7 stars for the comedy and Curtis Harris' character.

This show is just plain bad. The jokes are eye rolling. Can we stop with the fart jokes! It's so childish and not funny. The whole Louie finger snapping into the wrong thing got old after the 3rd episode. The acting is bad. Both the parents overact and so does the kid playing Louie. The kid playing Miles is too cheesy. Amber Montana as Taylor? Good lord she can't act her way out of a paper bag. She always sounds like she's reading cue cards and she can't do comedy to save her life. She lacks charisma and can't carry a show herself.
The characters suck. The dad and Miles are both corny. The mom is too frantic and hyper. Louie is an obnoxious jerk. The teen daughter Taylor is an unlikable rude whiny brat. She's so bland and so are her interchangable group of friends who have no distinct personalities. She and the actor playing her boyfriend have zero chemistry.
Frankie is the only cool character on the show. She's unique, smart, and spunky. Breanna Yde is a cutie!
