I have seen this movie at least a dozen times and it gets better every time I watch it. You can really tell that the director put a lot of thought into every aspect of the movie. The editor did a great job too I don't feel like I am missing any important points. The story flow and pacing is excellent and the graphics are reminiscent of popular video games. There are a couple of goofs within the animation but it was kind of fun finding them throughout the film. For a low budget movie I was really impressed with the overall quality of the movie. I was on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Although, I would not recommend this movie for young kids I think teenagers and above would really get a kick out of it. My kids really like the movie, their favorite character is the minotaur. Every movie deserves a chance and overall this one was not a disappointment.
What a great rendition of the story of the Minotaur! (Think the original "Hunger Games"). I was surprised by the complexity of characters and the development of the story line. Several interesting motifs resonate throughout. I found it to be a really well-written film. And the movie is beautiful to look at. Each frame looks like it could be a postcard sent from ancient Greece. The action scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat. The fighting scenes were especially spectacular. (Bloody and gory at times). Just because it's animated does not make it for kids! I'm not usually a sci-fi/horror type but this was also a story of survival and a commentary on human nature. Highly recommended!
I loved watching this action packed film. It was reminiscent of films I grew up with as a child. The story line was committed to loyalty and values that make us better humans. The animation was good over all, but could have been better. It did not detract from the overall film because you so quickly get into the story. I hope you give it a chance, sit back and enjoy the adventure. It's worth every moment spent as the characters with their powerful voices give credibility to the story. The actors who lent themselves to the power of the film make it so real to watch you forget that it's animated. The hero takes responsibility for his actions and you become his fan. He is a great example of a true leader.
Atlantis: The Last Days of Kaptara is a major studio caliber film produced on a boutique budget, with no concession to creative. I had the opportunity to screen this fantasy at its premiere, and wasn't sure what to expect, as fantasy isn't typically my preferred genre. Kaptara immediately drew me in and retained my attention with its compelling, well-paced narrative and layered, complex characters. The visuals were also of impressive quality, and I especially enjoyed the film's score, which enhanced the overall viewer experience. Kaptara is obviously thoughtful, and the care and dedication invested by the production team and talent is apparent. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and look forward to Kaptara's distribution and subsequent films from Mind's Eye Studios.

Kaptara has been a wonderful experience.. I have seen the movie three times and each time I am more amazed than the last.. Kudos to everyone involved in this project.. Your talents cannot be praised enough.. From the wonderful Director, Writer, Animator, to the fantastic voice over actors to the Minataur (how could I forget him)!! to the set designs and to the artists.. You all outdid yourselves. The music was so powerful and brought so many emotions to the screen. Gut wrenching at times.. no pun intended! From an Independent film with a low budget this is quite an accomplishment and a dream fulfilled.. You all should be proud. NOW THE WORLD IS WAITING FOR A THEATRICAL RELEASE.. its worthy of such a distribution.. Looking forward to seeing more
