    I feel shame!!!

I do actually feel ashamed that I watched to the end. The idea and 'creatures' weren't that bad but, oh the 'acting' was awful along with the script. How do these films get the okay and who okays them? Honestly give this a miss and don't feel the shame.

Territory: Great idea marred by a minimal budget

Territory is so obscure and has such little exposure that I'm the only person at time of writing to have seen this on IMDb. No ratings, no reviews, nothing.

This British horror tells the story of a multiple car collision in the middle of nowhere at night time. As the group check on each other it becomes apparent that they aren't alone in the night as they begin to get picked off.

The idea is fantastic and I've never seen anything like it. Sadly the lack of budget shows, the cinematography is damaged and the cgi is really quite poor.

It's sad to see as this had unlimited potential, it's a testament to what can be done in spite of a small budget but how certain types of films need more to achieve greatness.

Entertaining little horror full of good ideas and still well worth anyone's time despite its flaws.

    The Good:

    Very original

    Tense & fairly well made

    Outstanding considering the budget

    The Bad:

    Tad dark

    SFX aren't great

    Loses steam

Things I Learnt From This Movie:

One day characters will decide to do things as a group instead of getting picked off because they went off alone

Low cost, low grade, Indi shocker!

Sometimes a low budgeted affair can be most rewarding and with a rough gritty feel, that polished movies (with heaps of money) can't replicate. Unfortunately 'Territory' is not one of these and actually the special effects, together with a promising opening scene are rather good. All of this is ruined by the cast and coupled with some pretty awful (shocking) acting. The ending to is quite desperate and most unsatisfactory.

Where oh where has my little dog gone?

People find themselves on a deserted piece of road. Multi-car crack-up. Unfortunately none of the characters is either developed or attractive so there is no sense of identification to involve the viewer in their story. The music soundtrack only serves to be annoying. These people are quite apparently in England. How far can they all be from somewhere? Then, it's the past the middle of the night. One couple are coming back from a play- it's gotta be late. Daylight in just a few hours. Play cards? Take a nap. FOUR cars already there, seems highly likely another car will be along any minute. And then, of course... who cares about any of this? At least there isn't a cute little dog.
