Was expecting something else to watch the film but it turned out to be a masala film. The film raises its voice on the caste system, which is right and I also consider it wrong. But every story has two sides. We see how many girls lose their lives at the hands of boys who are just using them. But in every film only parents are shown wrong but who will tell how to avoid boys with wrong intentions Caste is not big or small, it is a person's thinking. The film seems illogical at many places and the story of the film is also quite predictable. The protagonists have done a decent job and the supporting cast is also fine, but the focus of the film was on Gurudev's character. And yes, there is a dialogue at the beginning of the film that "every language is respected in Karnataka" so I would like to correct it. No, no other language is respected in your Karnataka, I have experienced this myself and you will find hundreds of videos and news articles about it.

Gurudev Hoysala- Fast paced action movie with the right display of what "meter iro" (Kannada word) cop who knows no bounds to fight for the rights and justice.

Story and screenplay is clean and executed really well by the director Vijay Naagendra.

Dhananjaya roars like a LION KING and goes after the brutal jungle. He wears his khaki as the pride of honor, combined with his superior acting and style.

Background music and editing is spot on. Action sequences are well made. Rest of the characters have supported well and gels with the plot.

Watch it on Prime as the cop hits the baddies and gives justice.

The movie is impressive. All characters are penned as multidimentional in all its shades. Even the villains are shown to have some attatchments, love and vulnerabilities and the hero, "The Protector", can act as a "villain" when needed.

The action is great, the dialogues, the script... all is perfect.

It's a very realistic and profound approach at such horrific and inhuman practise.

What Bhoomi said in some parts of the movie made my eyes wet... such hearth wrenching feelings, the director could perfectly evoke very intense emotions all throughout the movie. The helpfulness, the bewilderment at how all the corrupt system worked, the anger, the good will to make things better, betrayals... Seems so so real.

Kudos to the whole crew ot this wonderful movie. It was really an experience not only a movie to pass time!!!!!

Dolly Dhananjaya's character of the policeman has become the most amazing picture. It's a great picture for all the family to watch. There is a good message in this film. Like Dolly Dhananjaya's action and dialogues are very good. Kannada needs to be encouraged and developed by all of us. Once again the most amazing picture of Kannada . The songs and music in this film are very wonderful. The screenplay is very good. Once again I request everyone to save Kannada and encourage Kannada film. Another amazing Kannada film has come out. The action in this film is very good. I am very impressed with Dali Dhananjaya's acting.

The movie is a little better than the other chest thumping ones in the sense the fights are a little more realistic. The social message of 'caste' seems like a feel-good, but there is nowhere else in this earth which does not have a caste system. Every country, every religion, every non-religion have divisions. Blaming caste for our problems in society is moronic and a cop-out.

Other than caste, there is another social message of honor killings. But it is the message of anti corruption that comes out more powerful in this movie. It is unnerving how anyone will not cooperate with the local mafia and do their bidding, unless you have super human strength.

Acting wise, Dhananjaya is ok, Achyuth Kumar is good, and he is capable of much better. The starcast and their portrayals are good.
