The Love Hunt

I was fixing to watch this movie and within the first five minutes I hear how they are trying to make a deal so they can make a higher commission which is not how the majority of us operate. Totally turned me off so I will not be watching. Customers and clients come first, always! This is not the first movie I've seen where an agent character is involved and I'm not sure who's doing their background into how it actually works.🤦‍♀️

I was rolling my eyes within the first minute when the obnoxious boyfriend says something like " I know your family are all treasure hunters and stuff". Great exposition genius. The meet cute with the male lead was pretty lame as well. Your ladder was in the middle of the road without a safety barrier. Serves you right if you get run over dude.

Between the start and the end was one of the lamest treasure hunts ever committed to celluloid. And finally, with five minutes to go when they're trying to attract the mum's attention, they're standing right next to someone with a bullhorn and no one thinks to use it. Goodness me!

Also, to the reviewer who spent the whole review complaining about the trailer one piece of advice: don't watch trailers!

In Hallmark-like fashion, the plot is predictable and the current boyfriend is a money grubbing control freak.

I like the Treasure Hunt theme; though the map should not have surprises late in the movie.

Old knowing man was well played and scripted. The 'Benjamin' scene was a great, funny moment.

The lead and pending love interest deliver a nice, though predictable, love story. He is a grumpy-tending love interest. His Mom is well played.

The movie themes address deceased Dad's legacy and relationship issues with the daughter.

Depiction of the great treasure was a missed opportunity.

Tomato throw was a great moment.

I enjoyed Love Hunt.

I really liked this one. The lead characters in my opinion have a lot of chemistry between each other... I was just looking at different titles in "Plex" ran Into this one. I really liked it. Thought it was very different from the usual love story that unfolds...... I love the main actress scout she does have a lot of movies in Tubi. I was actually looking forward to another movie she had done. Called " Hashtag Christmas". I was unable To find it. It's really not streaming. In any apps I know. But I found this one and I really liked it. I would recommend this movie to anyone that wants to see something interesting,

The actress who played Megan looked like a robot. I especially hate films and tv shows that endorse actors who get too much work done. I could forgive it, i suppose, if she could act. She can't

The film itself is richer in content than I'm used to for this style of film; a treasure map is just kinda unexpected in a christmas show! Overall it's worth a view; not saying you'll remember it two seconds after it ends (you won't) but its not crappy. Just plays into a lot of tropes, with a main actress who looks robotic and acts as such but the cast is actually not bad at all. I had a few laugh out loud moments which felt inappropriate but the characters demanded it. That golf put had me in raptures.
