    Lilith

This short film was dark and eerie just the way I like them. The ambiance was perfect especially in the house.

Great ending for what you give is what you get. The characters were portrayed very well. I wasn't quite sure what to think at first. Then you start to get that feel that this is leading somewhere.

The dialog was great and flowed smoothly throughout the film. I love films being shot in the dark, for it gives depth to the aspect in film making especially in making horror film.

Definitely a short film so there really isn't much more to say about this film as I gave it a rating of 7 out of 10.

    FIRST TIME

This is my first reviewing a move and I loved it and it is a different telling of Lilith. In my opinion this movie fang-tastic. I love the actress who played Lilith. Lilith is a very powerful character. I honestly thought she was going to show her true form. The story was Great and I wasn't really sure if I should have felt sorry for the guy.. music always brings a movie together no matter how short. I kind of saw myself as the character of Lilith. Love seeing powerful women like Lilith. I think a keston is to be learned. Be careful who you pick up. There might have been another one listen to.

    Lillith

Pretty disappointed. Wasn't a lot of action or things going on.

Films made with a dark night background are harder for me to view due to my vision challenges.

To me I guess I missed the point of the movie cause there just wasn't enough going on for me.

I am having a hard time finding things to say about the film because of lack of content.

I must really be missing a lot compared to what the others are saying. And I am trying to be positive.

I did like the ending where he doesn't know what to do with himself as he hears the baby crying.

Short films are fun to view though.

I feel like you get a glimpse into what could be expanded to a longer movie in the future.

A Hauntingly Beautiful Short Film with a Captivating Lead

I thought this short film was beautifully shot-the cinematography was absolutely stunning. I've always loved a nighttime ambiance, and this film captured it perfectly, creating an eerie yet mesmerizing atmosphere that pulled me in from the very first frame.

The pacing was well-executed, keeping me captivated throughout. Even within a short runtime, the film managed to build tension, intrigue, and emotion, making every moment feel intentional and impactful.

I especially enjoyed the character of Lilith. She was compelling, layered, and had a presence that commanded attention. Without giving too much away, I found myself rooting for her in the end-honestly, good for her! It's refreshing to see a character take control of their own fate in such a striking way.

Overall, this was a fantastic short film that left an impression on me. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates strong visuals, an engaging story, and a haunting yet satisfying conclusion.

Layers of Deceit and Desire in "Lilith"

"Lilith," the 2021 short film, initially presents itself as a potentially campy tale of a scorned gentleman seeking solace in a rebound. However, it swiftly transcends these expectations, revealing a narrative with surprising depth and intriguing twists. The encounter between the eager Seth and the Queen of Hell, Lilith, quickly escalates beyond a simple cautionary tale about promiscuity. The unfolding layers of Seth's background and the true nature of Lilith's motives create a compelling shift in perspective, effectively drawing the viewer into a darker and more captivating story. This unexpected complexity elevates the short far beyond its initial premise, leaving a lasting impression.

Central to the film's success are the compelling performances. Jeremy St. James delivers an excellent portrayal of Seth, masterfully capturing the facade of a down-on-his-luck nice guy while subtly hinting at the underlying narcissism driving his actions. His performance makes Seth both believable and ultimately deserving of his fate, sparking a desire to delve deeper into his backstory. Dane Berkshire's depiction of Lilith is equally captivating, embodying the Queen of Hell with an alluring yet undeniably dangerous presence. Her portrayal is both sexy and commanding, perfectly capturing the essence of the legendary figure. With its engaging narrative and strong performances, "Lilith" proves to be a remarkably effective short film, easily earning a solid 8 out of 10 and hinting at the rich potential for a full-length adaptation.
