Fun, entertaining nonsense.
Put your brain in neutral and enjoy a charismatic fun film. I'd rather watch this of an evening than the majority of boring and pretentious Oscar winners.
The performances are ideal for this type of film. It has a few surprisingly heartfelt moments and some cracking one liners. The pacing is reasonable throughout and as a refreshing change it's under two hours long!
Ok so now I'm just making up the required character length (who can't a review be precise and to the point?) with a conclusion that this film was fun and a proper old school enjoyable romp. No need to be the best film in the world just a need to be enjoyable!

This isn't going to win any Oscars, and it is far from a perfect time travel movie, but it was a fun ride. Kept my interest all the way through and had a good cast.
I cried a little, I laughed a little, I had a good time. The storyline is well developed and while a complicated concept it's handled well. The characters are well cast and well acted. Some hokey CGI but it doesn't detract too much.
This was a very confusing one. Is it made for kids? Because if so, I'm not sure they would understand this movie. Some of the concepts are a little complex. And if it was made for adults, then this type of humor was way too childish. It's clearly another quick cash grab from Netflix that's trying to appeal to everyone and yet doesn't quite appeal to anyone.
The production of this is quite good. The fact that they shot this during Covid is even more amazing. The acting is top notch, especially Ryan R. And Jennifer G. The scene at the bar is truly moving.
As others have noted, you really need to watch this movie with your brain shut off. Too many plot holes. At the same time, the storyline is somehow both super basic yet also very confusing and complicated. Not even sure how they managed to do that one.
Definitely a one time watch for when you're bored and there's nothing else to watch.

You know what's wrong with this whole aggregation ranking thing? Everybody's a critic and everyone thinks that their opinion matters. And it doesn't. Not one little bit. Mine included, so you can stop reading anytime you like...
People are pissed at this movie the way they are pissed at every movie that isn't directed by Christopher Nolan and have a plot you need a PhD to understand. These people appear to have lost the ability to just...enjoy.
What anybody who watched this movie - a movie about time travel starring Ryan Reynolds - was expecting when they threw a hissy fit is totally beyond me. Did they not know what was on offer? It kinda says that on the tin. Now, if that's not gonna appeal to you, move along. Nothing for you to see here. For the rest of us - you know, those of us who haven't forgotten how to enjoy stuff an don't require everything we see to be groundbreaking and profound - The Adam Project was a smart, touching and reasonably exciting Sci Fi romp that hit all the right notes and pushed all the right buttons. Recommended.

- GoofsAt 1:27:09 Louis mentions the gun fires rounds that contain a magnetic steel core; so, the weapon itself should have been pulled towards the reactor at the start of the breach, considering it pulls all things magnetic towards it. This would include its contents.
