The narration and its subsequent transitions were overdone and jarring. Regardless of the historical accuracy, everything was portrayed and delivered as poorly as possible to maximize the trashiness and spitefulness, guaranteeing to make you hate the palace power-struggle themed dramas just a little bit more. This was a very painful and redundant 60 episodes. There was a big massive disconnect of the characters' writing after the timeskip. The awful OST the drama didn't help enduring its journey. With the ridiculous overdramatization of the last 5-6 episodes, the drama reached its ultimate clown status. I pity those who had to endure this drama serializing weekly.
This was one of the best Korean series I've ever seen, jewel in the palace (great jang geum) yi san, the duo, jumong, emperor of the sea, under the queen's umbrella, mr queen and jung myung... all these series are my favorites
I like historical series and movies much more than drama ones for example i didn't like queen of seven days, the king and i and red sleeves at all because for me they were too much boring and i want to watch historical stories about royal family and the way joseon people lived not a drama between two persons in ancient costumes
Queen insoo was remarkable and I've seen it twice, in the other hand I've seen jang geum for more than 6 time and i think its the best series I've ever seen.
