I really like this programme although it is flawed. Having decided to make a programme about vampires coming to earth to become kpop stars, the makers deviated and concentrated too much on the girl group they stay with, who were really shouty and annoying, and Kwanghee. Kwanghee is funny but only in small doses. I hated the laughtrack as well, it was really terrible. The direction was like some high school play and the sets so bad they wouldn't pass muster in anything made in the UK after 1960.
Of course I only started watching this because of Lee Soo Hyuk, although we also have the benefit of Kim Woo Bin and Hong Jong Hyun, who presented Style Log with LSH in 2013. So much opportunity was missed in terms of funny scenarios which could have been explored (the guy playing the Prince was annoying too actually) although there are some hilariously stupid storylines and Lee Soo Hyuk is so beautiful, especially at the beginning of the series with his hair kind of plastered down, it is hard to see how such a face could be on a human being. His scenes with his pet chicken are a highlight of his career as far as I am concerned, forget S Line.
I really like the older female characters played by Min Soo and Soo Dong (?) Soo Dong's name is translated into English as Miss Dong Dong or something. The whole thing is like Benny Hill or Are You Being Served? Seriously silly. I want to recommend the girl who pays Lightning as well. She was so charming and pretty, it's a shame they weren't able to develop the story between her and LSH as the series was abruptly cancelled after 79 episodes as opposed to the original 120.
