Singh Saab is a really great movie. must must watch for everyone. Its much better than ram-Leela, Chennai express type of movies... that teach you nothing... this is a movie from which everybody will actually learn... I like the ending very much... villain is not killed but changed to good human values... i would greatly recommend this movie... learn from this movie... every hero tries to show his prowess with powerful action scenes... this is not what this movie teaches... this movie teaches badlav... which make more sense than badla... really a treat to watch this movie.. all khans are a failure in front of sunny ... u will see a simple sunny with great message... simple living high thinking type
People may think its not a new concept, Sunny is again looking for revenge. But this movies has everything - mas ala, emotions, great acting and dialogue delivery. Some people also comparing this movie with Dabangg and its sequel but its way better than both. This movie has a message, great direction and acting. Movie is original with original work by real actors and director. If Sunny cannot fight with twenty people at a time, then no actor can do that. Sunny brought many awesome movies and never did big campaigns to launch his movies. But now a days who ever can get more publicity on face book or you tube those actors think that they are better than these legends. I must say Sunny is back which we were missing from many years. All the very best team!!
There was a time when Sunny Deol was the reigning action hero as he had charisma and personality to pull off the action-drama roles with ease. After a long gap, he emerges back from the surface and gives you a punchy hardcore masala film.
Singh Saab The Great tells the story of a messiah who believes in "Change" rather than "Revenge" as he suffers a setback after losing his wife in a good verses evil battle.
From the director cult Gadar, Anil Sharma brings back the action- melodrama of 90's into the current scenario. Though the theme of the subject is well-intentioned , it is direction and screenplay which takes a backseat. The first half of the film literally does not have any impactful scenes except for the interaction between Sunny Deol and Prakash Raj. It is the second half which makes the film interesting and whole pictures heaves a sigh of relief. Art direction and cinematography are good. Action scenes are over-rated. Not sure why Hindi films displays people flying in the air with a single punch. Music is terrible. It is Sunny Deol who saves the film from falling into pit. He emotes, punches and delivers exceptionally well. Amrita Rao and Prakash Raj are passable.
If you are big fan of Sunny Deol, you will enjoy it otherwise it is a plain average film. Decent 2.75/5

Anil Sharma reunites with Sunny Deol once again after a hiatus with 'Singh Saab the Great'. And luckily, Sunny is in good from & the film is pretty entertaining. It doesn't disappoint!
'Singh Saab the Great' Synopsis: A TV journalist uncovers a mysterious hero's back story, who once worked as a tax collector, before being imprisoned for 6 years.
'Singh Saab the Great' is predictable & clichéd, but entertaining nevertheless. The narrative is arresting & the raw action-sequences are effective. Shaktimaan's Screenplay is been-there-seen-that, but fiery dialogue & some well-written sequences, make it work. Anil Sharma's Direction is skilled. Cinematography is grand. Editing is fair. Music by Sonu Nigam & Anand Raj Anand, is passable.
Performance-Wise: Sunny shines in the central role. He's still got the intensity & the energy he's known for. Urvashi Rautela is decent. Amrita Rao is impressive. Prakash Raj makes for a worthy nemesis. He's absolutely loathsome. Anjali Abrol is credible. Johny Lever & Sanjay Mishra are funny. Yashpal Sharma & Manoj Pahwa are good.
On the whole, 'Singh Saab the Great' is entertaining.

first of all let me ask u if u r a sunny fan or die hard action flick fan ? if yes then this film is the most prefect choice for you in recent times.sunny is back after a long period with a truthful story, amazing action and lots of drama.this is the story of a honest collector who suffered for his honesty due to villain's evil power and lost his dear ones and get into jail due to bribery allegations . villain do his job far better than other of his Hindi films and manage a change in his character. second half which is even more engaging. the new comer heroine does her job.above all the film belongs to sunny .the scene between sunny and villain are worth to watch again and again.action director does a great work to give reality into action scenes thanks for not coping from Tamil.being an action fan as whole this is a perfect film for all of you.just loved it. my rating 4.5 out of 5 stars.
