Just watched this movie yesterday. This isn't your typical canned Hollywood production, if that's what you expect, this may not be for you. Rather, it is a thought provoking, soul affirming look at our humanness. It touches on several topics, that may or may not resonate for you, but for some this will hit home.
The location, lighting and music was very well suited to the overall feeling. Casting was well done, Diane and Neil were superb and the others did their characters justice.
My constructive criticism would be : the sound quality at times, a few flat spots occurred where it was too quiet and drawn out ( perhaps for dramatic effect) where music may have helped build that tension. There was one particular character twist that was too big a leap, for me. ( it needed more of a bridge or justification).
However, I am compelled to watch this movie again. Why ? Because there were subtle nuances in some of the characterizations that I feel I may have missed. It's one of those movies you have to watch again to truly appreciate.
Aside from a couple of corny jokes, and there was one that made me laugh out loud. It's not a comedy. It's not high action. It's a thought provoking, original and unique piece of work mixed in with some great shots, lighting, music and character reveals.
But don't take my word for it, watch it for yourself and see.

Spin the Wheel is a captivating thriller that keeps you engaged from start to finish. The film is packed with unpredictable twists and turns that keep you guessing and on the edge of your seat. S-Raj Kumar shines brightly in his role, delivering an excellent performance that adds significant depth and intensity to the story. His portrayal is one of the film's standout elements, elevating the overall experience. The plot is well-constructed and maintains a solid pace, building suspense effectively throughout. If you're a fan of thrillers with strong character portrayals, Spin the Wheel is definitely worth your time. The film balances its thrilling narrative with Kumar's compelling acting, making it a thoroughly enjoyable watch. It successfully combines engaging storytelling with a memorable performance by S-Raj Kumar.
I enjoyed the character play and what felt to me like an interesting approach to an apocalypse confrontation premise. There is a solid focus on plot and character elements to keep the film engaging without resorting to flash and visuals I've gotten accustomed to seeing be used to make up for frequent inattention to substance in other films.
I would really suggest giving it a watch if you are into headspace thrillers and watching people react and change in a reasonably normal but still off-putting environment.
I will be keeping my eyes open for future stuff from these film makers to see how they and their art develops.

I think this movie has a really unique take on the end-of-the-world scenario. It brought up a lot of questions and kept me interested in the characters and the plot all through the movie.
The story centers around a group of people in a bar as the world ends, and the devil appears, telling them they can save the world if they beat him in a game of russian roulette. I really enjoyed the writing of this movie. The dialogue is not on-the-nose like many Hollywood films. It's an indie movie that makes you think, and indie film fans will love the slow burn and all the twists and turns in the plot.
Given that the movie was made for less than $25K, it looks like a film that cost many times that amount.
It's well worth a watch and I agree with the filmmakers... if it's the end of the world and I can't get to my family, I'd find the closest bar too!

Spin the Wheel delivers a unique perspective into the lives of people going through the final moments of a living hell and how they would react given the chance to change their current predicament (not necessarily for the better). Neil Chase captures the depravity and moral dilemma of individuals who have little left to lose while also showcasing a meta commentary on common tropes used in modern media without feeling the need to force it down viewers throats. Though a bit of a slow burn I found myself drawn in and wanting to know how it ends. The cast all stood out in their own ways and I look forward to whatever content Brimstone Pictures releases in the future.
As a side note, I've noticed quite a few negative reviews plaguing this and a few other indie projects. Not every project is going to be loved or well received but the best thing anyone can do is have an open mind and give everything a fair chance. I can't say Spin the Wheel is my favorite movie ever but I will say I don't believe the people who choose to review bomb movies in an attempt to negatively sway public opinion deserve the satisfaction of ruining peoples passion projects.
Do yourself a favor, watch Spin the Wheel and leave an honest review and help indie projects flourish through critical feedback as opposed to badmouthing and bashing in attempt to stroke your own ego.
