Derrick Simmons. Derrick Simmons. Derrick Simmons. I had to laugh because his name is all over the credits. I almost didn't watch this movie because I've never heard of him. But after googling him, I decided to time I give this low budget indie film a chance. I'm glad I did. Great story. Nice cast. Derrick is super talented. Most of his credits come from a stunts background, but it seems he's a good director, writer, producer and strong seasoned actor. Definitely the real deal. I am a new fan. This film Nobody's Perfect shows you can't judge a book by it's cover. I'm glad I didn't. The reward was watching one entertaining movie from a rising star. I look forward to seeing more Derrick Simmons Films in the future.
Nobody's Perfect is a very good film about a difficult life of lovely couple. This an intense experience with heartbreaking moments. Based on powerful choices and regrettable decisions. Actors Derrick Simmons and Lexi Moeller really know how to represent their character developments around the nature of this film. The director did a very excellent job! The story was awesome too. A great example of how life is not black and white. As far as films that were overlooked for the best films are concerned, this one tops the list. Brilliantly written, extremely well-acted, and incredibly raw and true, this film is a work of brilliance in the art of film. I love this movie. :)
This movie was so crazy dramatic. You'll know people just like these characters in real life. Wasn't expecting it to keep me so involved and on the edge of my seat. I've encountered situations like this and I've never seen a movie yet that touches on this type of subject and really hit home with it. This movie should really open the eyes to people that worship the ground that others walk on. The main characters played their roles very well and sometimes i found myself talking to Lexi when she did things cause she was just not thinking enough. I don't want to tell too much of the movie but when you see it, I promise you that you're going to talk through this movie and shake your head at what is happening. Great movie.

Bravo. Really good in every way. Intelligent. Restores my faith in American movie making. The director & writer have done a good job. All of the actors seemed like they were chosen for their potential contribution rather than box-office appeal, and they were very good. I think it is better than All the action-comedy movie. How could it have been better? I think slightly more development of some characters where you felt a bit more personal investment in them, and where you believed even more that they were personally affected by the unfolding events. In a way, it restores your faith in what quality investigative movie can produce. This is my movie of the year so far.
Finally, a domestic violence movie that gets it right. This is a good horrible story told. Which is not easy when you're dealing with tough issues like child abuse and domestic violence. The control factor. The abuser separates the victim from friends and family. Physical and verbal abuse. And then showing the cycle that causes domestic abuse. All in one film. Way to go. It's never a pretty sight to see people abused. But this was done artsy and entertaining. I love the lessons being taught and stats at the end. The film is simultaneously suspenseful, funny, and psychologically intriguing. Very powerful movie. Nice job to the filmmakers. I can't praise this film enough!
